PROLOGUE

max and violet had a really good relationship, or so it seemed to the outside world. amongst all the somewhat perfect love there amounted many arguments. weeks went by, and the days dragged on. words were barely spoken, communication lacked.  it had come apparent to both max and violet that something was not working out. neither wishing to ruin the 2 year relationship but both were aware it was doing no good.

it was not one of the classic 'it's not you it's me' breakups, instead it was rather blunt. as soon as violet had whispered the words 'we need to break up', max's face dropped. tears fell out of violets eyes, flowing down her face. max just nodded his head in agreement. time had frozen. the silence had crept up on them and was now surrounding the air, the atmosphere was tense with the unspoken words. neither knew where to go from here.

max stood up rather abruptly, stating it was best if he just left now. violet did not go to stop him, she watched as he closed the door behind himself. she was unsure of how either of them were meant to come back from this, or if they would.

hi i have not written a fanfiction in awhile, and thought why not give it another go. i will try and upload frequently. also the rest of it is going to be written as letters, i just thought i needed to add some background to the story.
