Who am I?
I honestly don't know
I'm a 16 year old girl
Who is caught up in a whirl.
Many portray me as someone
Who has her life figured out
Someone who knows what she wants
Who doesn't have any doubt.
The truth about me is
I'm really just confused
I'm very insecure
By the world, I just feel used.
I walk around the streets
With my head held high
I put on a coat of knowingness
The world cannot see this mess.
Someday I'll know what I want,
Where to go and who I am
I'll be able to answer the question
I'll be relieved of this tension.
