I nodded.
Should I leave Roddy?

"Yea I don't think so Hennessy. I don't know if I can leave Roddy."

"Mhm. Well if you change your mind just tell me. My flight leaves tonight. You gonna drop me off at the airport right?"

"Okay and yeah."

I left Hennessy's house and drove while thinking about me and Roddy's relationship.

This shit is so fucking toxic and Hennessy's offer is so tempting. I wanna leave Compton too. Everyone here is so fucking annoying, except for Donbo, Bird, Bree, and Wint (who I grew really close to).

I parked my car at the mall parking lot cause I decided maybe going to the mall would help ease my mind. Im trying to think if Im gonna come home and argue with Roddy again, or am I gonna come home to say goodbye.

I walked around for an hour before I went into this one store.

the big apple

It was this store that I guess was supposed to be New York themed and sells New York souvenirs and fashion.

I looked around, when I saw this sign advertisement for one of the coats they were selling.

"tired of California? move to New York!
Leave this tiresome city and start all over in the busiest city on Earth!
But, don't leave without this coat!"

I laughed at how ass the advertisement was, but I realized.

I wanna start all over.

I looked at the coat.

damn thats a nice ass coat.

I took it, and headed over to the cashier.

"Hey how you doin today?" the cashier lady asked.

"Im doin great thanks!"
I lied.

"Your total is $65.99"

I gave her my card.

"So are you moving to the big apple?" she asked.

"Excuse me?"

She pointed at the advertisement.

"Oh!" I thought for a second.

"Yes I am."

She smiled, handing me my bag.
"Well goodluck sweetie!"

"Thank You!" I said back.

-

I opened up my phone to call Hennessy while driving back to Roddy's house.

"Wassup." she answered.

"Hey... Your offer still valid?"

She chuckled.
"Yes best friend."

"Good. Cause Im comin with you."
