chapter 1 who is he

flashback!

"you damm brat, dont touch me" the little girls mother slapped her across her tiny face knocking her to the ground. "s-sorry mama" she teared up as she looked away from the woman.
"why did I have to give birth to miserable brat like you, your not my kid your the devils child" she stomped on the girls back yelling like a mad man. soon kicking the child out into the cold snowy street. the child with no name and only known as the devils child or a demon, cried herself to sleep as every other night.

"end of flashback"

"hahhaaaa" I woke up in a sweat as I quickly took in my surroundings seeing I was only in my room and it was just a bad memory. "I guess I'll take a walk then" I got up and headed outside. my body was quite frail as I didn't eat very often.

I walked down the small dirt path taking in the fresh air. It was a peaceful night, the soft rays of moonlight illuminating the forest. The light breeze that tickled my skin and the small flickrs of light produced from the fireflies.

hmm! w-what I can sense blood and a lot of it I froze up slowly turning my head to the direction of where I could sense the red liquid. I could tell it was blood by the red mist filling the air water was normal and stuff like alcohol was more of a brownish colour.

as I made my way closer I was now basically walking in red smoke making me even more uneasy.

I looked through some bushes to see.... "oh my g-" I was about to scream but quickly covered my mouth, but it was too late. One turned looking at me I completely froze. there Infront of me was two demonic creatures eating a fresh corpse. I clamped my eyes shut trying to convince myself it wasn't real.

then I felt one of them jump on me, pinning me there. "well well looks like dessert" he said gripping my wrists tightly, as he was about to take a chunk out of my neck I heard a sudden thud. then I opened my eyes as I felt his grip losen, I looked up to see a headless body. his head had hit the ground causing the thud sound.

I screamed as I flung the things body off of me. As I looked over at the one who saved me I noticed he had 'that' uniform. my heart sank as I saw the black haired male kill the other one in a instant 'so fast' I thought. his eyes seemed to resemble a jet blue ocean they had sadness lurking within them.

but I soon noticed he hadn't sheathed his blade yet, he made his way towards me I was scared, so scared I had passed out.

later...

"gmmmh" I rubbed my eyes as I slowly sat up. I looked over next to me and saw the same man as before sleeping soundly against a tree. the sun had stared to rise above the horizon blinding me slightly my eyes still adjusting to the light.

I looked at the man for a bit, admiring his gorgeous face and messy black hair. "what is it" he opened his eyes and turned his head to me. h-hes awake oh god//// . "umm n-nothing I only just woke up annnnd" I nervously laughed embarrassed.

"so both of those demons were male and the one I've come to kill is a female. do you know who she is" he grabbed my wrist bringing his face extremely close to mine. "what no no no I don't know anything about d-demons" I shook my head as I pulled away from the male.

"are you sure cause they described her as a h/c haired female with e/c eyes" he pinned me down to the ground leaving no escape. "p-please dont hurt me" I pleaded as his expression turned to an agitated one.

"dont worry I know you're no demon, the sun has risen you would be a pile of ash right now if you were" he got off me and leaned back against the tree.

"so did t-they send y-you" I muttered out vaguely looking up at him. "yes they said there was a demon girl here and that she was dangerous" he closed his eyes rubbing his head seemingly frustrated.

"well that's what they call me the devil ect, all because of one little thing" I sighed out, sitting next to him still staring at his faces beauty.

"and why would they call you that?" he calmly said still keeping his eyes closed. "umm well it's I....." I was scared to tell this man, he will start to hate me like everyone else and he might even try to kill me.

"what, it can't be that bad" the man grabbed my wrist and pulled me close to him once again. "I-I ummmmm" I muttered blushing a deep red as our noses were touching. "fine if you won't tell me, I'll have to take you with me" he pulled me up off of the ground and into his arms, carrying
me bridal style.

"w-what wait!?" I cried out then in a instant we were out of the forest and at the bottom of the mountain, the opposite side of the village. "h-h-how in the hell" I yelped clinging to the man for safety.

for the next hour he was constantly running at a fast pace which seemed to be normal to him. Soon we arrived at a inn of some sort and the gate had a symbol on it then a old woman answered and welcomed us in mentioning something about demon slayers and what not.

"here this will be your room" the old woman showed us to a room that had spear clothes, a warm meal and even beds prepared as if she knew we were coming.

a few minutes later

"Here you should go have a shower" the man handed me a towel and the extra set of clothes. "ummm are you sure, sorry but you reek of sweat" I said without thinking soon realising what I said, covering my mouth quickly. the man blushed also realising too, that he did indeed stink.

he got up and grabbed the towel and clothes scurrying to the bathroom, which the room came with. heh how cute he ..... wait a minute ...... I don't even know his name yet, omg how embarrassing////////
