You left
And we gave up our dreams.
What's there to do if the one who brought you into this world decided to get up and leave?
Over money.
Money, such a pathetic thing.
It brings out the worst in people.
So many fights over a piece of paper that is losing it's value.
You chose money over love?
Pathetic.
To think I looked up to you.
You never came back this time and we waited.
Oh for weeks we waited.
I found grandpa's maps in the attic.
Hopefully they lead to a place where money doesn't exist.
Perhaps heaven?
Maybe my death lies within these papers bounded by a thin rubberband.
Death, it sounds like such a scary thing., But is it really?
That's for you to decide.
Money, money, money.
How it brings out the worst of us.
So greedy and so desperate
We don't even see the value of our friends and family.
You'd rather have a diamond ring or a brand new car than the happiness of your child or lover.
Pathetic.
Money will drive you up the wall.
I watched my fathers work their asses off and I watched my mothers cry in desperation.
How much is money really worth when you're left all alone?
Money gets to the very core of our soul.
From the moment you hold a bundle of cash with a gleaming smile on your face, you will soon be corrupt.
That's what money does, it's what it'll always do.
Look at our nation, it's run by people who thrive off our hard earned cash.
I watched her eyes go black as she walked out the back.
Money is the corruption of all things good.
Money is evil.
