*Trigger Warning: Suicide*

Orientation day at Marry Shelly high goes as planned. Students come to tour the school to get a baring of it, as well as their schedule for the semester. Shelly high is a very prestigious school, and demands a lot from its students, so a list of classes, and the necessary materials being given to them a week before school starts is a good start, especially for students who are on a scholarship and/or flow in from another state, country, planet, or system. Thanks to this, a demand for boarding has been met with the school's dorms, which sit across the street. On orientation day the freshmen in need of this housing are assigned a room, "alright, room forty one," the door slides open to a freshman year girl, she enters her new dorm and puts down her bags that are tag with the name Velma. She pulls a piece of paper from the pocket of her red Hooped skirt, pushes up her thick yellow sight glasses, and brushes her auburn hair from her face, "I got my dorm settled, and got my classes. I guess I should try to meet the other students," the school encourages students to socialize with one another to avoid cultural ignorance. Over at the gym is where the social event is happening. Booths set up to introduce students to the different species attending the school. Some students are more social then others, one student in particular is a freshman girl, half human half in a purple holographic dress, pink stockings, purple thigh high gogo boots, and matching purple head band sat in her long wavy orange hair done up in a high bump, "Hi, Daphne Blake, nice to meet you," She spoke to a sophomore with blonde hair, a muscular build, and an orange ascot, "Blake? You wouldn't happen to be related to Helen Blake, Ms. Coolsville?" he asked, "Yeah, Helen's my sister," Daphne answered, "I'm Fred Jones. Helen was best friends with my sister Julie,"

"Daphne let's book it, we still need to sign up for cheer," a senior girl with long black her walked up to Daphne, "Oh, Courtney have you met Fred?" Daphne asked her sister, "of course, he was on the football team last year, who can forget a cute face like that. Are you signing up for the team this year, Fred?" Courtney said, "Yeah I'm just waiting for the rest of the team to meet up, and we'll head over," Fred answered, "Alright then, come on Daph to the football field, catch ya there Freddy," Courtney winked at Fred then led Daphne to the field. As they walk out Daphne sees a girl in an orange turtle neck sweater and a red pleated skirt heading towards the gym, "ooo, I love that color combo, it goes great with your skin tone," Daphne complimented her, "Oh, uh, Thanks," the girl answered, "I'm Daphne Blake, nice to meet you," Daphne introduced herself, "Velma Dinkly," the girl smiled, "come on Daphne, social time is over," Courtney called to Daphne, "Oh, sorry I have to go, maybe I'll check ya later around campus," Daphne spoke, "Yeah, Maybe," Velma responded. Daphne caught up with her sister and headed to the field, as Velma headed into the gym, just as she walked in she bumps into someone and falls to the floor, causing her glasses to fall off, "Oh, my glasses, I can't see anything without my glasses," she panicked, "I'm so sorry," a boy spoke as he helped her up and handed her back her glasses. She puts them back on to see a muscular blonde boy, "No, it's okay, uh, I'm Velma by the way, it's nice to uh, bump into you I guess," Velma awkwardly introduced herself, "Fred, and I'd keep an eye on those glasses if I were you, it's a bit crowded in here," Velma looked over to see that Fred was right. Maybe she should head to the Library to check out the clubs instead, "Fred what it is, did you hear? Rumor around is there's this crazy smart kid who skipped a grade, and got a scholarship," a Jock ran up to Fred to gossip. Velma figured that the clubs were a better place to be and left the gym. The football team finally gathered and headed to the field for sports sign ups.

"I'm glad to see another Blake joining the team, the captain of the team has been a Blake for the past five years ever since Helen," the coach of the cheer team told Daphne excitedly as she signs up, "yeah, since I'm graduating this year, My baby sis Daphne will have to be the Blake to carry on the torch," Courtney said proudly, "wow the coach and the captain," a blonde woman spoke as she walked up with a tall boy, with shaggy caramel hair, a baggy green shirt, maroon pants, and a great Dane, "give me your honest opinion, do you think my son has what it takes to be a cheerleader?" the woman asked, "Mrs. Rogers, great to see you, Courtney, go ahead," the coach ushered, "hmm, if he shaved and bulked up a little he'd be a total casanova, and be able to lift us girls, but like this he'd only be good as a flyer. Can he do any acrobatics?" Courtney's captain instincts kick into gear, "He did take gymnastics, a year or so ago, and was top of his class," Mrs. Roger answered. Courtney smiled; a sign that she liked what potential he could bring to the team, "Mom, like I don't really want to join the cheer team," the boy spoke up timidly as the great Dane brushes up closer to his leg. This cause the smile on Courtney's face to fade, "Well, if his heart's not in it then he'll just drag us down," Mrs. Rogers shrugs, and walks over to the football sign up, just as the team walks up, "hey coach, do you think my son is football material?" the coach looked to the boy and said, "I like to let my team decide, they have to spend every day together anyway, Hey Steve, come take a look at this kid," the coach answered her. Steve, the captain of the football team, looked over the boy, "I think I know where to put him, but let's ask Fred, to see what the future captain thinks," Steve explained, and waved Fred over. Fred seemed to be staring off in the direction of the cheerleaders, but snapped back just as Steve waved him over, "what do you think of the kid Fred?" Steve asked him, "huh? Oh, umm, well he doesn't have the right build for defense, but he might but fast enough to keep by the goal," Fred answered, "Mom, I don't like really want to join football ether," the boy says even quieter this time as he starts to scratch his earlobe. Mrs. Rogers sighs and decides that this venture is a bust, and would be best to move to something else, "Okay, let's go check out the clubs,"
