Dixies POV
"Dix hurry up or we'll miss our flight" Charli said as we walked outside to get into our Uber, we are going back to the Hype house after spending the summer back home.
*skip to when the plane lands*
When our flight landed we were greeted by Charli's boyfriend chase "hey I got the car outside so I'm ready to leave when y'all are" he said so we grabbed our suitcases and followed him out to the car. During the car ride I started feeling a little sad because the last time I was at the house me and my best friend Addison left on a bad note, we got into a major argument because her boyfriend Bryce doesn't treat her right and I wanted her to break up with him but she got offensive about it and told me to leave so I did but she didn't know how bad that hurt me, I left crying "dix you ok" Charli asked breaking me out of my thoughts "yeah I'm fine" I say as we arrived at the house. We got our stuff out of the car and started walking to the door "your rooms are the same as they were so you know where to go" chase said as he opens the door and I walked up stairs but I dreaded seeing Addison again, I opened the door and saw Addison on top of Bryce "I'll come back later" I say setting my suit case down beside the door and ran down the stairs to get Charli. It took me a while but I found Charli out by the pool with Avani "Charli can I talk to you alone really quick" I ask out of breathe "sure" she says walking with me away from the pool "so what's up" she says "I can't go in my room" I say "why not" she asks and I think she could tell I was aggravated "because I walked in on them you know" I say and Charli looks shocked "your face is red calm down just go inside and do something to get your mind off that ok" Charli says taking my hand and I nod then walk back inside. I walked back into the house and Addison ran down the stairs "Dixie wait" she said but I just ignored her and walked out the front door "Dixie please" she says putting a hand on my shoulder "what Addison" I say turning around clearly mad "I'm sorry" she says and I just roll my eyes " he is just using you Addison he doesn't love you he's just like any other boy but just like before I left your taking his side because I forgot that I'm wrong and a boy that you have only know for a few months is more important than a friend you've had for 4 years" I say and walk away, I decided to take a walk to calm down I ended up behind some abandoned building just down the street from the house, I sat down on the curb and started looking at my phone when Bryce came out of nowhere and snatched my phone away from me throwing it down shattering it "what did you tell Addison" he yelled and I just smirked "the truth" I say standing up "well you made her break up with me" he says pushing me "I wouldn't go there if I were you" I say warning him "or what your gonna call your sister" he says pushing me again "no but I am gonna do this" I say punching him in the nose so hard he fell backwards "that's for me" I say then I kick him where the sun doesn't shine "and that's for Addison" I say walking away. When I got back to the house I just ignored everybody and went up to our room and I saw Addison sitting on her bed holding a pillow " Hey are you ok" I say sitting next to her "yeah I should've listened to you in the first place" she says and I hug her then she looks up at me and we stare into each other's eyes for what seems like hours but then she finally looked away "I'm gonna go to sleep goodnight" she says "goodnight" I say and walk over to my bed thinking about what just happened.
