Karan: mine too...

Malhotra: hope you're enjoying..abhi award ceremony start hone wali hai...

Karan: yeah...

He left while karan went to bar.

He was drinking when the awards were given to the employees.

'And the award for the employee of the year goes to, Ms. Preeta Arora'

He listened this line and became stunned. The love of his life was infront of him.

Karan: preeta?

Tears start flowing from his eyes. The girl he loved, whom he betrayed, whom he made cry, was infront of him, finally.

He went towards her but she was going away.

But her eyes fell on him.

She was stunned.

Preeta(in mind): karan? Yeh yahan kese?

Tears start flowing from her eyes but then she remembered what he had done to her. She went from there angrily.

Karan: preeta? Ruko..

But she didn't listened. She sat in the car and drove away..

Karan followed her.

Karan(in mind): ruk jao preeta...kab se dhoond rha hoon..ab jab mili ho tu ja rhi ho...

Preeta(in mind): mein tum se kabhi nahi miloon gi, karan...kabhi nahi...tumhi ne kaha tha na bhool jao sab...tu lo...bhool gyi....

She reached her home and locked the door.

Ayaan: mumma? Aap tu jaldi agye..

Preeta: hmm....party jaldi khatam ho gyi na.....isi liye jaldi agyi...

Her door bell rang.

She went to open it and saw him. Ther was pain, hurt and regret in his eyes.

Preeta to housekeeper: ise oper le jao..

Ayaan went from there.

Preeta was about to close the door when karan stopped.

Karan: preeta plz, ek baar baat sun lo..

Preeta: tum ne suni thi meri baat? Suna tha mujhe jab mein ne ro ro kr kaha k karan aisa mat kro...mujhe khud se door na kro...

Karan: plz...ek baar meri baat sun lo...phir jo tum chaho gi..mein wo maan ne k liye tayaar hoon..

Preeta didn't listen. Instead she was trying to hold back tears.

Karan: tum jaanti ho...mein tumhare beghair kesa ho gya hoon? Tum tu mere jeene ki wajah se bhi saath le gyi, preeta,

Preeta looked at him. It was like he was telling the truth. There was regret and fear in his eyes. Then why he asked her to leave.

Preeta(breaking voice): mein tumhaare jeene ki wajah saath le ayi tu tum ne kya kiya?  kyun tum ne mujhe jaane ko kaha? Kiun kaha k mein wo sab kuch bhool jao? Kiun kaha k tum ne mujh se kabhi pyaar hi nahi kiya? Mere har dukh ki wajah tum ho karan...mere tootne ki wajah tum ho,,sirf tum karan..

Karan came close to her and tried to wipe her tears but she jerked his hand.

Karan: darr gya tha mein..

Preeta looked at him confusingly.

Karan: tumhe kho dene k dar se dar gya tha mein...

Preeta(angrily in tears): lekin kho tu tum ne mujhe usi din diya tha jab tum ne kaha k mein tumhaare liye sirf attraction hoon...kabhi socha bhi hai k mein kis haal mein hoon gi...tum bohot ache se jaante the k mein tumhaare kitne close thi...jo baat mein kisi aur ki nahi manti thi...wohi baat agar tum kehte tu maan liya krti thi....tum yeh bhi jaante the k mein tumhare beghair nahi reh skti...meri zindagi ka maqsad tum the karan...aur tum ne kya kiya.... tum ne mera yaqeen tora hai...jo mujhe tum pe tha...(karan looked at her with tears), socha tha k chahe kuch bhi ho jaye..karan mere saath kabhi kuch ghalat nahi hone de ga...aur phir kuch hi mahino mein mujhe chale jane ko kaha...keh diya k mein tumhaare saath guzra howa har ek lamha bhool jao...kya yehi importance thi meri tumhaari life mein...keh mein sirf tumhare liye ek distraction..

Karan stopped her in the middle.

Karan pulled her closer and said angrily: dobara yeh lafz mat kehna preeta....tum mere liye kabhi distraction nahi thi...

Preeta(chuckled in tears): kitne jhoot bolo ge karan luthra...

Karan(angrily): kya keh rhi tum? K mein ne tumhe chale jaane ko kaha? Tum kya samajhti ho k mere liye itna asaan tha wo sab kehna...kya mere liye itna asaan tha tumhe rota dekh k....jante howe k tumhaari rone ki wajah mein hoon...kabhi yeh socha hai k mein ne wo sab kiun kiya?

Preeta looked at him stunned.

Karan(in tears): kiun k mein tumhe kho nahi skta tha preeta....tumhaara mujh se door rehna manzoor tha lekin mein tumhe kho nahi skta tha...

Karan held her hands and said: jis din mein ne yeh sab kaha...us din mein ne  tumhe bahar le k jana tha...par mujhe ek phone call ayi..aur us ek call ne mujhe wo sab krne pr majboor kr diya...wo call Mahira ki thi..us ne mujhe ek video bheji jis mein us ne tumhare oper nazar rakhi hui thi..aur mujhe tumhe chor dene k liye kaha aur kaha k tumhe mein khud se door kr doon....nahi tu wo tumhe maar deti...mein us waqt bohot dar gya tha preeta....pehle bhi us ne tumhe nuqsaan pohnchaane ki koshish ki thi...isi liye mein ne wo sab kiya...aur jab tum chali gyi tu ek ek pal mere liye mushkil hota gya...plz mera yaqeen kro...mein sirf tum se pyar krta hoon...

Preeta was crying the whole time. Her heart was telling her that he is speaking the truth.

Preeta: tu yeh sab tum mujhe bhi tu bata skte the na

Karan: agar bata deta...tu tum jaati?

She looked at him and cried. He took her in embrace.

Karan: meri life mein tum sab se zyada important ho preeta..agar tum nahi tu koi bhi nahi....mein tu tum se shuru se pyaar krta tha preeta...meri khushi ki wajah hamesha  tum hi thi...tum khush tu mein bhi khush aur agar tum udaas tu mein bhi...bohot rulaya hai mein ne tumhe...

He broke the hug and kissed her forehead.

Karan: ab tumhaari life mein khushiyon k ilawa aur kuch bhi nahi hoga....

He held her hands and said: ab sirf mein aur tum hoge....jahan koi hume door krne wala nahi hoga..

Preeta: bohot bure ho tum..

Karan: I'm sorry.....maaf krdo apne bajarbattu ko...

Preeta(with attitude): jao....preeta karan luthra ne tumhe maaf kiya..

He chuckled.

Preeta looked behind at their son who was coming towards them. He hugged her.

Ayaan: mumma,,yeh kon hai?

Karan: mumma?

Preeta: aap ne apne daddy se milna tha na?

The boy nodded.

Preeta: yeh aap k daddy hain..

Ayaan went towards karan and hugged him

Karan bent down to his level and hugged him. He looked at preeta.

Preeta: Ayaan Karan Luthra

Karan smiled in tears..

Karan broke the hug.

Karan: bilkul mere oper gya hai...shukar hai is kareli pe nahi hai...ab mein a gya hoon na...tu aap mere saath hi rhe go..

Ayaan: kareli?

Karan: haan..aap ki mumma ko mein kareli bulata hoon..

Karan lift his son in his arms.

Ayaan: daddy,,ap inhe aise nahi keh skte...yeh bohot sweet hain.

Karan looked at her and she gave him winning looks.

Karan: koi baat nahi, ab se yeh mere saath reh ga na...tu mere jese ho jaye ga..bajarbatti, tum ne ise apne jesa boring bana diya hai..

Preeta: what did you just say? Mein? Boring? Karan luthra stay in your limits , okay..

Ayaan interrupted her and said: mumma, aap daddy ko is tarah nahi keh skte..bajarbatti....

Preeta was shocked and they both laughed

Karan: that's like my son..

Preeta(scoffed): I hate you both..

Karan and Ayaan: But we love you...

She looked at them and they hugged her.
