It's just not working out...
We've known this was coming, I realized it this morning.
While you are constantly pairing up with "others", your pair is in mourning.
Your match is being left at the bottom & smothered.
You cause arguing daily, the kids never know the struggle.
From brushing their teeth to their hair, it's always a juggle.
When I need you, you are no where to be found.
Sometimes... I hoped you had drowned.
I'd like to toss you in the trash, or turn you to ash.
But you always stick around, never making a sound.
Now the truth comes out, we'll take this route.
Remember there is always a catch, there is never a perfect match
No matter what pattern or color not the ugly patch.
It's just not working out... our socks will never match.
