At home with Ruby
Ruby's alarm clock hit 5:30 and started to ring. She woke up and went to turn it off but realized she was meeting Blaire at the bus stop today. She quickly got up and made her bed. Then she put on her blue long sleeve shirt and black leggings that were too big for her. She put her brown hair in a messy bun while she did her makeup. Once she finished that she put it in a braided bun, brushed her teeth, grabbed her LL Bean backpack and headed to the bus stop.
At Home With Blaire
Blaire woke up to her phone ringing. Her friend Ian had called her, she hung up and almost went back to bed but then she saw what time it was 5:46.
"Shoot," she whispered as she jumped out of her bed. She ran over to her closet, got out her usual black sweatshirt and black leggings and threw them on. She put her hair in a ponytail and brushed her teeth. Once she was done she swung her black and green bag over her shoulder and ran to the bus stop where Ruby would be waiting.
The Bus Ride
Ruby was waiting on a bench for Blaire to get to the bus stop when she saw her walking around the corner out of the corner of her eye.
"Blaire there you are!" Ruby yelled in a cheerful voice.
"Sorry, I'm running a bit late!" She yelled back.
"A bit?!"
"Yeah..." Blaire said clearly not knowing how late she was.
"The bus is almost here! I was getting worried that you weren't gonna make it!"
"What?! What time is it?"
"It's 6:50!!"
"Oh..."
As they were talking the bus pulled up and the driver opened the door. They were getting on the bus when their bus driver started yelling at a freshman.
"Sit down or I will pull this bus over! I know Sue doesn't deal with this!" The substitute bus driver yelled at the kid.
As Ruby was getting on the bus she whispered, "Yes she does.."
Blaire followed behind her saying, "It's her job.." and they took their seat in the 5th row. They spent the rest of the bus ride talking to the freshman that was getting yelled at, the girls found out his name was Noah.
At School
The three students got off the bus laughing and split up to head to their homeroom. Blaire had Mr. G, Ruby had her mom, Mrs. Jade, and Noah had Mrs. Donald.
~Time skip to their last class~
Blaire went to Mrs. Jade's class for math and sat at her desk. The only friend she had in this class was a girl with long, straight black hair named Violet. Today she was wearing a light pink t-shirt and her hair in a braid.
Blaire felt a tap on her shoulder but she ignored it so she wouldn't miss anything important. She felt another tap and this time she turned around to find Violet with envelopes in her hand.
"Hey Blaire, I was wondering if you would like to come to my party tonight?"
"Sure!" Blaire said excitedly, But quietly
"You can bring a friend too! Or 5! I'm trying to get a lot of people at the party so I can make more friends."
"Okay cool, I'm gonna bring Ruby. Is it ok if I bring a Freshman?" Blaire asked, concerned she would say no.
"Of course!"
"Ok, thanks! See you tonight!"
They weren't that worried about getting in trouble because they knew if they missed something Mrs. Jade could just tell them later.
