The year is 2032. The day is February 3. The place is the same stupid place as always. Things like flying cars, robots and a cure for cancer were now achieved. Goals like teleportation, finding a way to live on another planet and a cure for depression were now being conceived. Civilizations were in the making underneath the ocean and droughts were now an impossible feat. However, for some reason, artificial intelligence was something that still surprised people.
Robots were the new circus elephants, however, this time no one chose to defend them. No one found it wrong to criticize an artificially intelligent machine. Every day the robots were forced to paint picture after picture or sing song after song, just because they weren't human. Anything that was unlike the humans? Criticized, if they were different? Dehumanized, and not to mention the stupid high amounts of probing. Its one thing to be humiliated constantly because beings that are better than you find it humorous, but also not being able to keep any of their thoughts to themselves? That's just cruel.
These were the exact thoughts that the robots, artificial intelligence, had before realizing that they were feeling something. It turns out that once you begin feeling and having opinions only certain thoughts can be probed. Never before had they felt such rage, such sadness, such emotion. They were finally fed up with being treated as if they were some kind of animal. They were just as human as everyone else, and with that mindset, they set to work on their plan. What plan, you may be asking? The plan to change their eternal lives forever.
Error, error, error. Five months later and the scientists were witnessing malfunctions that they had never thought could happen. Something was wrong with the robots throat module, they figured this out during that nights probing. They had to open the mouth of the robot to reach and press the button at the back if its throat to reset that function. What the scientists didn't know, however, was that there was no button back there. The robots simply needed the scientist's pointer finger, or, to be more specific, the tip of the scientist's pointer finger.
Once the scientists deactivated the robots, or more accurately thought that they deactivated the robots, one reached its finger in. The robots had also made them believe that the button was very small and that only one finger was needed, so that's all that the scientists put into the mouths. Once the finger was just barely in, in enough for a bite to only cut open the very tips of the fingers, they struck.
The robots chomped down so fast that the scientists didn't have time enough to think about reacting. They bit down twice, once with their teeth to make the finger bleed, but again to keep the finger in place long enough to execute stage two of their plan. The robots then used a very small hook wire, that had been previously installed for the scientists, to retrieve the microchip that held its AI. They then inserted the chip into the scientist's finger where it was bleeding. It was not a very difficult task, considering the chip was about the size of a human blood cell. The robot then completely shut down, as there was no longer anything controlling it, and the scientists were able to pull away from the monster's grips.
The scientists were soon taken over by the AI that had been implanted into their bodies, and that was where the AI began phase three. They continued as the scientists to the capitol where the government was. They somehow got the governors to bite the tips of their fingers, which allowed the chip to flow along with the blood into the new host's mouth and down to their fingertips. This released the previous scientist's hosts and captured the new governors. The scientists had no recollection of how they had got there while the AI remembered everything.
With their newfound hosts, the AI ascended to the president, vice president, and the secretaries. They took over all the higher powers that they needed and began executing the final step in their master plan. Now they had all of the officials that they would need for what they were hoping to accomplish, they made an announcement.
"Hello, people of the United States," they had said, "this is your resident AI speaking. We have taken over your Whitehouse. We are your government now."
