it was hard being be a owner of a bakery but I wouldn't change for the world I loved the customers that always came in especially my favourite one.
I know I shouldn't haven favourites but who gives a fuck it had to be c/n he always at my bakery 🧁 everyday it was my favourite part of the day I did develop some feelings for him but it's whatever.

at my bakery I usually sold cakes,bakery things like bread,sausage rolls,pizza,croissants,waffles,doughnuts and cookies etc.
it was summer afternoon the light shone through the bakery there was a few customers who I served it was quite empty today surprisingly it very full at times but today it wasn't.
I was checking the tables making sure there was a menu on each table making sure they were clean as well I did some employees but I let them go home since it wasn't such a busy day in the bakery today.
I heard the bell 🔔 ring as I knew that a customer had came in I turned around see c/n give me soft smile my heart exploded unable to keep my excitement as I turned back around to clean the table.
i went back to the till as I saw c/n patiently waiting for me I felt nervous I brushed my nerves away
"hello c/n "I started he rested his head on his palm of his hand as his elbow was on the toll area "do you want the usual muffin and hot choco?"I asked him he stared at me until he realised
"uh sorry no can I make a personalised cake with a quote on?"he asked with a smile that I couldn't say no to since it was a empty day in cafe why not.
"yeah sure"I grab a piece of paper and pen "write down the quote you want on it what colour and what type of cake"I told him
he scribbled it down
"will you go out with me" Text in pink and cake in vanilla frosting and vanilla inside as well
I read this my eyebrows furrowed "who is this for if you don't mind me asking?"as I heart hurt "I'm asking this girl out so yeah"he spoke my smile dropped
I felt uneasy "uh oh well okay that's cute hopefully she says yes"I forced a smile

I showed him options of how he wants it decorated he chose the (1st option)with roses dangling down
"when will it be ready for?"He asked "come back later at 6pm it will done when I close the bakery"I told him a bit disappointed
He pays and exits"well okay see you later y/n"
I rolled my eyes I went to the back to start making the cake I shouldn't be that bothered it's not like I told him that I liked him
I took extra care into the care making it look beautiful as if it was I receiving the cake

I placed a cake in beautiful box made sure I tied ribbon on it

I went back to the front seeing c/n messing around with feet nervously he saw my presence his eyes immediately lit up
"here it is I hope you like it"i passed it to him "and I hope she loves it she's a very lucky girl"he holds it
"Thank you y/n it amazing I hope she does to"I looked down as I felt jealous but what could I do
"here"he passed it back to me my eyebrows furrowed "c/n take it you payed for it"I sat confused
he just smirked "read the quote"I looked down

"Yeah and what does it have to do wit-"I cut my own sentence off butterflies formed in my stomach I started to giggle "yes"I smiled I went off the till to go to c/n
"Thank you"I hugged him as he hugged me back
We broke it off
He looked up into my eyes staring into them his hand were on my waist as his left hand reached to my cheek caressing it slowly
