Pocahontas (A NaruHina Story)

Prologue

     The story begins in the year 1607, where fellow men of the country of Japan begin to depart for the adventure of a lifetime.  Some of the fellow soldiers give their last goodbyes to their families, all except for one man. Naruto Uzumaki, the greatest soldier of them all.

In sixteen hundred seven

We sail the open sea

For glory, God and gold

And the Shinobi Company

For the New World is like heaven

And we'll all be rich and free

Or so we have been told

    "Ready to hoist the cannon?" a sailor cried out "Aye!" another sailor cried out. Soon the other Shinobi soldiers spot the man of the hour. "Hey, look! Is that Uzumaki?" Choji asked his two friends Konohamaru and Shikamaru "That's him, all right, the old troublesome sea dog." Shikamaru nodded  "Captain Naruto Uzumaki! I've heard some amazing stories about him" Konohamaru chimed in "Are you coming on this voyage, too?" Choji asked the captain as he boarded the ship "'Course he is, you half-wit. You can't fight those troublesome Indians without Naruto." Shikamaru chuckled "That's right. I'm not about to let you boys have all the fun." Naruto laughed as he boarded the ship. The rest of the crew had unloaded the ship and anxiously awaited their leader, Governor Tobi and his sidekick Sasori with his pet pug Kurama.

On the beaches of Kono

There's diamonds like debris

And gold you pick right off a tree

With a nugget for my Winnie

(Time Skip to 2 weeks)

The shinobi warriors are caught in a storm,

   "Full anchor release!" a warrior cried "Come on, lads, come on!" Shikamaru cried out "Give me a hand, someone!" Choji shouts "Watch out!" another man shouts "Faster! She's taking up more water!" a crew member shouts as he gets the water out below deck with buckets. "Look out!" another man cries, Naruto turns around and spots Konohamaru having trouble with the cannons. "Naruto! Get down here! The cannons are breaking loose!" Konohamaru shouts as Naruto swings down and helps Konohamaru "Reef the topsails!" Naruto orders "Aye, sir!" Shikamaru answers "Steady on the course. It's all right, Konohamaru. We'll get her tied off." Naruto reassures him as they tie the cannons. "Say your prayers, lad!" a sailor shouts "Look out!" a sailor shouts as the tides begin to rise.

   "Oh no!" "Konohamaru, watch out!" Naruto shouts as the young man gets tossed into the sea by the wind "Help!" Konohamaru shouts as he hits the water "Man overboard!" a sailor from the crows nest shouts. "Help!" Konohamaru shouts "Stay your course. He's lost." Shikamaru shouts  at Naruto. Naruto shakes his head and shouts at one of the crew members "Pull the Pin" as he ties a rope around himself "Aye Sir!" the man shouts as Naruto heads for the deck and jumps into the ocean "Naruto! Are you crazy!?!" Shikamaru shouts as he and Choji watch from above. Naruto grabs Konohamaru pulling him to safety. "Hang on, Konohamaru. I've got you." he says to his friend. The rope that has Naruto snaps loose "Quick, the rope!" Choji shouts as he and Shikamaru grab it pulling the two men on board. "Heave! Come on, lads, pull!" Shikamaru shouts "Pull! Pull! Put your back into it!".  As soon as Naruto and Konohamaru are pulled back to the top deck, the crew begins to cheer. "Well, that was refreshing." Naruto smirked "Well done Naruto" Choji smiles "Of course. You'd all do the same for me." Naruto adds " the other soldiers shrugged.

     The storm begins to move on and the clouds lighten up as the governor arrives on the deck with his servant holding an umbrella over him and his dog"Trouble on deck?" the governor asked "Governor Tobi!" Konohamaru stands up "Konohamaru fell overboard, sir." Naruto explains "Thank heavens he's been successfully retrieved. Well done, Uzumaki" Tobi smiles "Thank you, sir." Naruto nodded his head as Governor Tobi walked down to the main deck "Don't lose heart, men. It won't be long before we reach the New World, and remember what awaits us there: freedom—" Woof!" Kurama barked "Prosperity—" Tobi adds "woof! woof!" Kurama barks "The adventure of our lives. You are the finest crew the Shinobi has to offer and nothing, not wind nor rain nor a thousand bloodthirsty savages shall stand in our way. Carry on men!" Tobi shouts making the men cheer. "

    "A stirring oration sir. I'm sure the men were most exhilarated." Sasori smiles as he walks with Tobi to their chambers "Let us hope so. I'll need those witless peasants to dig up my gold, won't I?" Governor Tobi smiles as he holds Kurama.

Meanwhile on the deck

    "This New World's going to be great, Naruto. I'm going to get a pile of gold, build me a big house and if any Indian tries to stop me, I'll blast him." Konohamaru said "You just worry about that fortune of yours, Konohamaru. Leave the savages to me" Naruto explains "You think they'll give us much trouble?" Choji asks as he eats his snacks "Not as much trouble as Naruto will give them!" Shikamaru snickers as the men begin to sing

Crew: We'll kill ourselves an injun

Naruto: Or maybe two or three

Shinobi & Naruto

We're stalwart men and bold

Of the Shinobi Company

    Naruto and Konohamaru walk to the front of the ship to feel the breeze "What do you suppose the New World will look like?" Konohamaru asked "Like all the others, I suppose." Naruto shrugs "I've seen hundreds of New Worlds, Thomas. What could possibly be different about this one?" Naruto adds.
