Backstory: sam had been in the army since she graduateed high school. she enlisted in the army as a sniper. sam had been in the army for eight years until one day while sam was patrolling the camps perimeter she walked past an abandoned car and as soon as she got close enough to look inside the car exploded. Sam felt several pieces of shrapnel enter her body causing her to fall down. Sam tried to stand up but was unable to. she was able to roll on her stomach and crawl back to the camp after what felt like an eternity she made it imto the camp and then she lost consiousness. When sam woke up she could tell something was not right. sam lifted the sheets up and what she saw made the color drain from her face her left leg below the knee was gone. A few days later someone came in and told sam that due to her injuries she would need to be medically discharged due to her injuries. A month went by and sam had gained enough strength to get sent home.
