Chapter one: Masquerade

Pov Mari

Ever since Mari failed to save Master Fu she has felt nothing but guilt, anger and sadness. Which would leave her wide Hawk moth with the perfect chance to akumatise her. So for the sake for everyone including her self she packed up only some of the necessities such as the miracle box. Some clothing that is dark since she would be in Gotham. So she could exactly wear her bright cheerful clothing. Besides it would might be a nice change in clothing.  Also just sketching book along with $500 as her work with MDC.

Jagged Stone invited Mari a trip to Gotham the city of crime. As a fund raiser for the Wayne's  gala as a way to keep up pretenses and  mostly as a way to help give back for the children's hospital. It is a sweet gesture said Mari said. So Mari the first time in months made  a beautiful dress that looked a lot like the photo at the very top. But she had a mask since the whole point of this masquerade ball. Was for nobody to know who you are. That was well suited for Mari because people only wanted to talk to her only to hope to get more rich and famous. So this was the perfect opportunity to rule the truly good of heart and the selfish and needy.

Pov Damian Wayne

The girl in the what looks to be somewhat of queen of hearts red dress stood out from the rest she was just standing by the punch table sipping her punch and swirling it slightly like she was disapproving. Then her face lights up when she hears and man who must be her father or something say MDC. Tim beside me then squealed like the little girl he on the inside. He kept saying I just saw MDC at the masquerade ball.I thought he was going to explode of happiness. 

I then said I would never understand how some girl papers on a couple of covers of a fashion imagine is famous. Tim looked at me horrified like that one time I threatened him with my favorite sword. Ahh good memories. How she is important he said in low deep breaths. You remember that video game champion in Paris and how she beat everyone in mere seconds will her legendary leg kick then power ball t the face.

 Yes I said intrigued well MDC was the one who did it. She even designed the cover of your favorite album song by Jagged stone. Why don't you go dance with her  said Tim in a teasing way. Forget it I said she is probable someone who is rich and snooty. Well If you dont then I will tell everyone on the entire bat team that your were afraid to dance with a rich successful girl who. Also you will be known as Boy fearful instead of Boy wonder. Fine I will do If if you shut up I hissed annoyed at Tim. 

Then Tim said something only the readers could hear mwhaha my ship of MDC and demon spawn is starting to start. Boy am I an evil genius or what ? Okay more onto Damian . As he walking closer and closer to MDC. His scowl was starting to lighten. Wait a second I have not even met her yet and I am not scowling what is this feeling ?!? Just as he was contemplating his feeling. he asked her for the honor of a dance with his hand out.

Pov Mari

I was at first confused. Why  want to dance with me. Oh he must want something from me.  I figured hey why not and I accepted his hand. I heard sudden gapes of horror or shock. Wait was that I asked even though the person I was dancing with had a mask I could tell he was blushing by the tone of his voice. Oh nothing  he said. The rest of the dance I was anlazying him but as he did the twirl. I saw his left wrist the mark of a demon. That's odd I thought  then a flashback occurred of Master Fu's death

Fu Dying in the hospital dead. Mari the mark of the demon is the most dangerous. If he finds your the angel for the guardians he will kill you. Beware the league of assassin's they are the Miraculous one enemy. Then he placed a bracelet on her hand this should help you see who is part of the league of assassins and who is not and most importantly who has the mark for the demon.  As The flashback ends I put on a fake smile that no one but a true expert could tell that something was wrong. 

As the dance ends I head back to the fruit punch bowl and as I get some fruit punch some is split on me by one of the host's . As soon as it happened they looked really sorry. I am so sorry said the women. I will pay for all damages she said. It is fine my name is Helena. Hey it is fine. Then she looked at me and said. Oh I recognize  you are the one who demon spawn danced with .

 Who I asked you know the Ice prince. Is that supposed to mean something to me I ask a little hesitant. Then Helena brings over the guy I danced with and said this is demon pawn feel free to call him that to he doesn't mind. What the ... Helena then stuffed some bread in Damian 's mouth . Now. Now Helena chided you are supposed to be a good boy during this party. 

 Pov Helena

OMG I ask You have a crush on her. Demon spawn then blushed such a red color I have never had even seen before. It was even more brightly  red more red than that dress that girl he liked was wearing. What her name I ask. Ask Tim he is the insistent on me dancing with her. Then maybe I will I huffed making my way over to Tim.

Pov Tim.

I saw Helena talking to demon spawn and making him blush. So I was  immediately awake. Helena then asked who that girl in the red dress is. She is best known as MDC. Really Helena asked since out of the whole family we were the only one's who loved MDC work. Okay That makes plenty of sense. But why try to pair up our favorite fashion designer . She is an angel compared to demon spawn. But I said If her good personality rubs off on him a little bit our lives would be better. Besides I said to prove my point. We can embarrass him anytime we want and we get a fashion designer in the family.

Pov Mari 

Finally, I got away from the party. It took me forever now I can focus on finding someone called Alfred Pennyworth . Wherever he may be let him be safe she pleaded. After all he is soon going to be the guardian if he know's that or not.
