Ch.1 "Getting into UA"

You've just got out of class. You go to Aldera Junior High, a public school with kids that possess unimpressive quirks. Not only that but there's one kid who has no quirk at all whatsoever, or so you heard. All your heard were rumors that a green haired boy was trying to get into UA, but evidently he had no quirk growing up. Of course he was teased for it but you never saw it. Wiping that thought out of your mind you went back to thinking about UA itself. Since your quirk was more than suited for it you believed it was be a piece of cake. Your quirk is called Technopath, you can control and manipulate robots or anything with metal and bend it to do whatever you pleased. From doing your homework to just doing things you don't wanna do anymore. You actually wanted harder homework because you didn't think polynomials were gonna get you anywhere to UA, it bugged you sometimes that you disliked your own smartness and wished you knew less so you could have a challenge. As you were zoning out in your locker you hear yelling coming from a classroom nearby. You go and check it out to see an angry, spiky haired blonde shoving you out of the way, behind him are what seemed to be his friends. They quickly apologized and chased after the blonde, leaving you to see the green haired boy everyone has been talking about. He looked like he just seen a ghost. Feeling sympathetic, you walk toward him slowly. 

"Um, hello.. ", you said slowly.

The green haired boy didn't respond, only looked downed and grabbed his backpack.
You cleared your throat, which made him yelp with surprise.

"Oh, erm, hi!". He was a nervous wreck, how the heck were you gonna start a conversation with this kid?

"You okay, you look like you've been scared half to death", you started,  which only made him look even more sad.

"It's nothing", he said, "Just dealing with a small problem".

You were getting tired of the small talk.

"I've heard about you, kinda famous, hm?"

He looked confused, then quickly understood what you meant.

"It's nothing, just normal teasing" he said.

"I'm Y/n, I'm in the class down the hallway". You took out your hand, he smiled and took it.

That seemed to lighten the mood just a tad.

"Izuku Midoriya" he said brightly.

'Midoriya', that seemed to fit the way he looked in your opinion.

"Cute name", you chuckled, you didn't mean to say that out loud but you didn't have any regrets.

His face was like a cherry and it made you giggle a bit.

"T-thanks, um, well I should get going. B-bye!!", and those were the last words he said before he stormed out of the room.

Is this the first time he spoke to a girl? Wow that says a lot to be honest but you shrugged it off and went home. As you got home you took off your shoes and went face first into he couch. Your mother and father were always out of state, since their quirks were really handy, your father had the same quirk as you while your mother had a healing power, so you were always alone starting middle school. Little robots and gadgets were all over the floor by the time you got home, handing you snacks and such before you looked for the UA sign ups in your backpack.
