"Get out ,Nova!",Was all I heard until my "Dad"broke down the door ,making my mom fall down with it.I couldn't move ,I felt scared ,yet hatred at the same time."There you are ,Nova.",my dad growled.I still kept my eyes on my mom that had a pleading look.Hoping I would just jump out the window and to the tree beside it.I started to feel tears rundown my face.I could hear him make his way to me."I'm talking to you!",He shouted as he grad my collar from my favorite sweater my mom gave.As for him he didn't even talk to me."Let her go,Henry!!",pleaded my mom ,as tears were falling down her bruised face.Without a response my da- Henry through me making me land on my face.By every second I could feel my face become more and more hotter,more angrier.

"I wasn't talking to you,so shut the hell up!!."Henry replied to my mom.As he made his way to her. Unfortunately, she was already sick which makes her too weak to fight Henry back.He then grabbed her by her hair as he was raising his hand."Dad don't please leave mom alone ."I quickly begged before he would hurt my mom.He just chuckle and shakes his head as if he was disappointed.And without hesitatingly he slapped her as she finally passed out.I felt more tears run down my face , but I really just felt numb.I turn my attention to the window then back to Henry who was distracted making fun of mom.

I have been running from him for too long.I'm so sorry mom ,but he has been crossing the land for too long.Behind me was a drawer with my school supplies ,one of those were my scissors.And with him having his back on me made it even easier.After the accident ,my neighbors heard Henry's cries and called the police.
