There are people who make Sirius and James the villains and Snape the hero,but that is not true. JK herself said that Snape is not a light character or a dark character,he is a gray character,not fully bad or fully Good. I mean,James grew up, he became an adult and learned from his mistakes. Snape, however, did the opposite,I mean,he bullies kids, and Neville is actually afraid of him. In the real world,he would have been kicked out, and parents would complain and get him fired. You might say that there are teachers in real life like that,well that is,sadly the truth,but that is not a good thing,those teachers should not be allowed near children. Snape treats Harry badly because of his dad, who Harry himself never got to meet. If I was a teacher and the child of one of my bullies is in my class, I would treat them the same as all my students because kids aren't their parents and shouldn't be blamed for the actions of another person. People also forget the only reason Snape changed sides was because of Lily, I mean she was married and had a kid,Snape should have moved on, Snape also told Voldmort about the prophecy causing Lily's death. If the Longbottoms were chosen, instead,he would not have cared. Lastly, about Snily,do you want Harry to never be born!
