The cool breeze was refreshing. The lights through the streets were shinning as if there life depended on them. The streets were scares with no life in it except for a life that sat on the bench under the tree on the park. Low whispers could be heard mixed with pain and sadness.

Unmistakably that was a young woman, shading tears of unfairness, maybe or maybe not, but who would know if not her.

Her face was now clear and the tears shinned through the lights like sparkling diamonds. She looked everywhere in her surrounding lightly trembling, looked upward, sighed and left.

She dragged her self through the streets to her apartment. A place where she called home. Leaving with no one else but loneliness of the cold walls. A cheap apartment that she rented. Her parents were long gone.
Throwing her jacket on the handle of her old couch, she lies down on it thinking of nothing and slowly drifting into unconsciousness.

Lyne was a simple girl, yet not that simple. She escaped home centuries ago due to a coupdetar that led to lose of her parents. After moving away from home, she wondered on different countries and later settled in New York.

With no doubt she slept peacefully as if nothing happened she was beyond broken into small pieces in the inside. But she knew how to survive, survive the harshness of life, survive the bulling.

She learnt to be strong, strong because her mother's dying wish is that she must be strong, strong to avenger their death, she must learn preserving and any harshness that comes her way.

She had to show the world how strong she was. But deep down she knew she was weak. So weak that she could fall with just a push. She wasn't made of stone. She had feelings too. Feelings that make one weak emotionally rather than physically.

After moving to New York, she enrolled in a university and had just graduated and had applied for internship at one of the most famous company vin NY as an IT assistant.

She is one fine lady driven by big dreams. That one day she will find her happiness. That one day her parents soul shall rest in peace. She knew she had to have money, lots of it.

Her life was screwed up. All hope gone but now she had to live on how the day present itself.

Yet she slept so peaceful, deciding to put the trouble for another day. Which she knew won't end well if she didn't get a job to sustain her needs and empty stomach. She didn't want to depend upon anyone.

The alarm woke her up reminding her of yet another tiresome day.

Dragging her fragile body up with dark circles under her eyes, signifying she didn't have enough sleep, she took a warm bath relaxing her body and mind while brushing her teeth at the same time not wanting to be late for her new job. Working as a waiter at a restaurant not that near to her apartment.

Locking the door hurriedly, she hailed a taxi not wanting to drive due to lack of enough gas on her old car.

The day ran quite smoothly for Lyne. Serving drinks and food made her forget her worries for the time being.

The ringing of her handphone made her realize what time it was.

"Hey Kyle, what's up?" She answered with a delighted voice.
" Nothing much, how have you been?"
"Quite good, nothing interesting so far, maybe you tell me"
" Well, are you free at six, Anna meet up"
" Sure, six then, you know where"

The phone then hang-up on her ears. Well that's strange, Kyle never hang up without telling her how much he loves her.

She didn't want any help from him even though he was rich. She knew they won't be together but only passing time because she didn't want any commitments so far.

Deciding not to go deep into it, she continued her work because it was only four in the afternoon wishing the day to end up quickly.

At 6:15, she hurriedly went to their special meeting place where they shared their memories and where they first met each other. Kyle and her started dating 6months ago and he understood several things about her.

But there were things she never shared with him. Her family and the truth about herself.

He knew when she could be genuinely happy, and when she faked it, when she's sad and when she's not.

Looking at Kyle sitting at the bench with him scrolling and typing on his phone happily, with love radiating from his eyes, she knew exactly what's going on.

Deciding to put her mind at ease, she slowly approached him from behind and as sharp as her eyes were, she stole a glance at what he was reading.

Knowing the contents she pretended as if she saw nothing and greeted him with a back hug.

He was startled at first then guilt followed and showed in his eyes and then disappeared as fast as it appeared.

"I wanted to tell you something, but first am sorry for what I'll tell you, but I don't wanna lie anymore to you." He started while looking everywhere but not her.
"Okay??"
" Umm...mm"
"Just say it already, okay, I know what you wanna say but I wanna hear you say it" she said looking him directly.
