It was a warm August day in America. I was walking down by the old oak tree behind our country home when I heard my mother yell, "Y\N! Come in for dinner!" "Coming mom!" I yelled back.
30 minutes later at the dinner table
"Hi dear, how was your day?" My mother asked my father.
" It was quite alright, " replied my father, "Dear, I think we should tell Y\N about our plans, it is time she knows." "What plans?" I asked, now curious.
"Well, Y\N, we're moving to Japan with your uncle," my mother replied, "I just got a well paying job offer there and we can't afford the rent here. Uncle John is gonna give us a home for a while until we can get our feet back under us."
" What?! " I practically screamed across the table slamming my plate against the jungle wood surface.
"We're packing tomorrow and have to be out of the house on Sunday (two days away) so be prepared." My father said with an aggravated tone. I was so upset I could burst! Thoughts started coming to mind like, Why me? What school will I go to? How will I make new friends? How do I tell the friends I have now?! I didn't have a clue how to appropriately act at all.
2 days later in Japan at Uncle Mike's house
September 1. Wow, I think I could actually get used to this place, I thought, astounded by the beautiful views of Japan's country. I took a deep breath of the fresh air after a 6 hour flight. All of a sudden a heard a pair of people's yelling voices. I walked over to the door of the room I heard the angered voice coming from.
"She should go to UA Amanda!" My father yelled.
" No! It is way to dangerous Tyler! She would be in class 1A with the poor high schoolers that got attacked by villains last year!" My mother replied harshly.
"She should go to school that will actually help her with her quirk! You saw what she did the other day! She freaking made a 10 foot high inferno with a spark of a match! She needs to learn to control it," my father said a little softer. My quirk was fire, but since my parents both had fire quirks mine is extremely powerful.
"I know," my mother said sadly, " I just don't want to lose her. "
"Its ok, I feel the same way, but we have to let go. After all, she is 15," my father said comfortingly.
