Hello! Whether you came here from another one of my books or you're new, welcome!

This book will definitely be different from my other Fillie books. Yes, they're all AUs, but this one is like an actual AU, if that makes any sense.

I've had a couple chapters of this written since 2017...so the idea is something I've been sitting on for so so long but never had the guts to post. Well...I have the guts now so here goes nothing.

The characters are adults in this story (still young though lol) so with that in mind, there will be drinking, mentions of sex etc. etc. etc. If any of that triggers you or offends you in some way, I recommend you click right off this story and read another :))

Characters:

Millie Bobby Brown - Blue

Finn Wolfhard - Grey

Noah Schnapp - Grey

Sadie Sink - Orange

Caleb McLaughlin - Blue

Gaten Matarazzo- Green

Color. It's a spectrum.

For as long as anyone can remember, the Colors have been separated from the Dark and the Bright. Even with this separation though, there is still a hierarchy between the Brighter Colors.

Blues, Reds, & Yellows sit at the top; they are the Primaries. Every color under them are equal to each other, except for the Shades, that is. The Greys and the Blacks are known as Colorless to the Brighter Colors. They don't live in harmony with them.

You can tell a Color from their eyes. It's the first giveaway, the color that they shined. If their eyes are for whatever reason unavailable, you could tell by touch.

If a Color touches another Color's skin, it shows up on them both. If a Blue touches a Yellow's arm, the Yellow would have a Blue handprint on their arm and the Blue's hand would be covered in Yellow. It's almost like a bruise, except it disappears in only minutes and it is painless. The last way to tell a color is by blood. Their blood always matches their Color.

Touch isn't something used very often because it's looked down upon. The rules were plenty, that was for sure. There was one rule though, one rule that was never broken. One thing that nobody dared to go against.

Colors Don't Mix.

I hope that explained it somewhat?? I'll be explaining it more throughout the story so hopefully you guys don't get too confused, I'll do my best!

Each chapter will switch between Finn & Millie's POV, first chapter starts with Finn's.

All of your feedback is much appreciated so comment, vote, whatever you want but please no hate, just constructive criticism. If you have any questions, feel free to message me here or on Instagram. And remember, it's just a story!!
