Bad Romance

Prologue 》Starting the band《

"C'mon Isla, would it really be so silly if we started a band?" Lily asked.
"Think about it! I can be the lead singer. You can be our bassist. We just need a back up singer, a drummer, and a guitarist. Oh! And maybe someone to play keyboard. Then POOF! We have a band!" Lily squealed excitedly.

"Where would we get those people Lily? Let alone people we get along with well enough to start a band with?" Isla responded with an exasperated sigh.

Lilly knew Isla was right. Finding the rest of the members of this so called band she wanted to start wasn't going to be easy, but after the karaoke slumber party they went to yesterday, Lily couldn't help but get her hopes up. She had so much fun singing her heart out with her friends.

"What about Katie?" Lily shouted suddenly. "She plays the drums! Please Isla? At least think about it?" She gave her best friend the best puppy dog eyes she could muster and prayed it would work.

"Okay. Fine! You dont give up, do you?" Isla responded with a slight smile. Lily was nothing if not persistent about what she wanted.

It wasn't long before lily managed to find the rest of the members of the band. Felix, whom lily has know since the third grade, was in choir with lily for as long as she could remember. They had performed many duets together and their voices blended so well. He was a shoe in as the back up vocalist.

The guitarist was the hardest part. Yes, they went to a preforming arts highschool. There were plenty of guitarist floating around, but to find one that meshed well with lily, Isla, Katie, and Felix. Well that was the hard part.

Then along came Hiro. It started when Isla and Katie walked in on him practicing in one of the music rooms. He had head phones on and was playing along to a rock song. The way he played guitar so passionately is what ultimately convinced Isla. If they could get Hiro in the bad. She was in too.
