Chapter 2

It was still before dawn, and Wei Wuxian was already awake. For him who sleep till the late afternoon is quite an odd moment. Wei Wuxian thought not to get out of bed as he's sleeping at the inner side, and he wouldn't want to wake Lan Wangji. Instead, he thought to take this chance to have a good look at his husband who always wake before him.

"Hm...how did I fall asleep last night? I wanted to ask him something." Wei Wuxian thought to himself.

He reached out and gently touch Lan Wangji's face, from the brows to his lips. Wei Wuxian thought of the time how Lan Wangji did everything to protect him, and waited him for thirteen years, not even knowing if he will return. If Mo Xuanyu had not cast the spell, what will happen? Wei Wuxian couldn't help himself and pressed his lips on Lan Wangji's. As he pull himself away, Lan Wangji was staring at him.

"Good morning, Er Gege."

"Good morning."

"Since you're awake, it must be 5am already."

Lan Wangji wanted to get up, but seems like Wei Wuxian who is practically on him had no intention to move at all.

"Wei Ying."

"Yeah?"

"Time to get up."

"I don't wanna."

"Wei Ying."

"I'm not gonna~"

Wei Wuxian moved his left knees up and hit on a specific spot. Immediately Lan Wangji grabbed him and press him below himself.

"Er Gege, we didn't even complete our evrynight routine last night, are you just going to let me get away with this?"

Wei Wuxian wrapped his arms around Lan Wangji's shoulder, again, he raised his knee up. Lan Wangji really wanted to make him pay at this moment, but there's something important to do today, which is going back to Gusu and visit Lan Qiren.

Lan Wangji lowered his head and whispered to his ear, "We'll continue tonight."

Finally, the two arrived at Caiyi village, and it is quite a crowd here with the masters from other sector all gathered in this village. This could be either because of the annual meeting of all sectors, or the students from other sectors are all here for Gusu Lan Sect's classes.

"It's my first time coming here to attend classes in Gusu Lan Sect, I'm abit nervous."

"What's the big deal? It's just Master Lan (Lan Qiren) talking boring stuff."

"I heard that there are four thousand plus rules in Gusu Lan Sect, is that real?"

"Is it? What I heard was five thousand plus."

"It seems like they  added more restrictions after Wei Wuxian kidnapped Lan Wangji."

Wei Wuxian who was sitting somewhere at the corner almost choked when he heard the conversation between the students. While he was coughing away, Lan Wangji gently pat on his back.

"Since when did I kidnapped you? It was you who kidnapped me!"

"Yeah."

"What you mean "yeah"? Lan Zhan, you're not easy to tease anymore. You've changed!"

Indeed Lan Wangji had changed, to become more familiar with the way Wei Wuxian teases.

"Hmph, since you're not funny to tease anymore, I'll find someone else."

Lan Wangji did know this is just one of the ways he teases him, but he still feels unhappy about it. He puts down the tea cup and grabbed his hand.

"No."

"If I insist, what are you going to do about it?"

"Hide you somewhere."

"Hahahaha...okay, hide me good, then I'm yours only."

"Yeah."

Wei Wuxian did not bother about those who were staring at them and gave Lan Wangji a peck on his cheek.

They've arrived in Cloud Recesses and immediately Lan Wangji was called by Lan Qiren. Wei Wuxian went to the back hill and play with the rabbits.

The news of their return attracted the mini Two Jades of Gusu."

"Senior Wei." Lan Sizhui bowed to Wei Wuxian.

"Good to see you, kids!"

Lan Jingyi crossed his arms and said, "We're not kids!"

And what he got in return was Wei Wuxian shoving his head.

"Senior Wei, we've missed you and Han Guang Jun very much." Sizhui said.

" Same to us, look at you guys, you've grown even taller."

"Senior Wei, how long will you guys stay this time?"

"No idea."

"Why not you stay longer? We missed going night hunting with you guys."

"Sure, I would want to see how much our mini Jades of Gusu have improved."

It has been three years since they last met. The trio cached up through the whole afternoon. Till nightfall arrives, Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi had also returned to their own rooms, Wei Wuxian sat in ther chamber waiting. It wasn't long until Lan Wangji finally returned. The moment when he steps into the room, he saw Wei Wuxian laying dead on the floor.

"Wei Ying."

"Lan Zhan, you're finally back."

"Don't lie on the floor, it's cold."

Wei Wuxian stretched out his arms towards Lan Wangji. Not a word said, Lan Wangji put down the lunchbox and carried him up.

"You're late, Er Gege."

"There was a delay."

"I'm hungry already."

"I brought you dinner."

"I don't want to eat the food here."

"I know, I cooked."

"You're the best, Er Gege!"
