"He can't hear or walk now?" Your mom, Ichika asked the doctor.

"Fortunately, his legs would heal in time with physical therapy. But unfortunately, his hearing can't be fixed. The damage and explosion caused by the crash had enough force to damage his eardrums.. there isn't much we can do to help him anymore"

Although what they said didn't even pass your mind or could be heard at all. You could comprehend what the doctor was saying. Eardrums, crash, damage...Yet you pretended you didn't know a single bit. The doctor looked at him, and shook his head slowly. You looked at him back, and then averted your eyes to the window. You didn't really want to see your mom and dad talking about the situation with the doctor literally right in front of them. So you looked outside the window, trying to not know what it's about. And without you also knowing, the doctor and your parents already left the room, leaving you there.

  Well that was quite rude wasn't it...? You then proceeded to try and think about something positive. Like the sakura flowers blooming this season, or the sweet smell of the plum blossoms. It IS April and the start of spring. You tried and tried to forget and numb the pain from that car crash, yet you felt tears running down your face. You tried to clean it off by wiping your face with the long sleeve from your hospital gown, yet it didn't seem to work. It just felt as if more and more tears came down. Why? This spring was supposed to be happy. We were going to get Ice cream and then go on a hunt for more bonzai saplings. Then the spring festival... You then looked at your hands that were scarred from the crash, leaving a few cut marks along the palm and a scar on the wrist. Why why why did this have to happen? You then felt tears fall onto the hospital gown as you kept looking outside, trying to enjoy the view of the beautiful suburbs outside the hospital with the beautiful sakura petals scattered across the pavement while trying to stop crying.

You then saw a child, riding a bicycle up and down along the road, it sent you some shivers as your remember that moment. The moment you were hit by the car as you tried to bike across the street would haunt you these days... it sent shivers down your spine as you remembered it. You didn't even know how it happened, you were usually cautious, yet this happened. After that all you remembered was sight of police lights and people frantically screaming. After that, darkness settled in and you never heard a sound again.

"It was supposed to be a happy day, why did this happen? God I'm so stupid. Believing that it was all fine" you said to yourself, even though you know full well that you cant hear anymore. Then, the tears that were resided in your eyes started to fall, and this time you can't and didn't try to stop it. You just let it fall as the trees kept moving around, making the sakura petals fall
