Hello. I am Jake Lenard Barr, I am 31 years of age.
I was a psychologist in Detroit, but unfortunately I have been laid off of work for the inconvenience that there was more demand for Android psychologists.
This Is the story of how my life changed.

I arrive to the mansion of Carl Manfred, to inform him of the news that I will no longer be his son, Leo Manfred's psychologist.
Walking up to the door I ring the doorbell and wait.
Soon a tall and dark android opens the door.

"Hello, I do not believe Carl was expecting anyone" he says to me puzzled.

"Hello I am Dr. Barr, I was stopping by to inform Mr. Manfred about his son. I hope it's a good time?" I ask .

The androids LED blinks yellow for a moment and then back to blue.

"I will go get him, please, step inside" he says as he moves out of the doorway.

I go into the large house, examining my surroundings. It was a beautiful house, art all around as soon as you walk in, a large mirror on the wall to my left, next to it a cage with what appears to be birds. To my right is a staircase leading to the next floor.

"Well hello Dr. Barr" an old semi familiar voices calls out to me.

"Hello Mr. Manfred, beautiful place you got" I turn and look at the voice, a older man in a wheelchair smiles up at me.

"Please, call me Carl. Now let's get down to what you came here for...it's about Leo isn't it?" Carl frowns at the end of his sentence.

"Yes unfortunately."

"Well then...please come with me to my dining room and have some tea with me, Markus just brewed some" he replies before the android, Markus, starts wheeling him through a door in the back of the room.

I follow close by, the next room revealing only a much more beautiful decorated room. Bones of animals, spiral stairs in the corner, a piano, and much more.

"You will have to excuse the boxes over there, I am just getting everything of Leo's boxed up that he left here" Carl says pointing to a corner of the room.

"That is alright Mr-...Carl. Your house is much more beautiful than my apartment"

Markus pours two cups of tea and brings them to us.

"Thank you Markus, why don't you go do something while me and Dr. Barr talk?" He asks Markus.

"Yes Carl" Markus replies, before going and playing chess by himself.

"Alright, what is the bad news?" Carl asks taking a long sip of his tea.

"I am here to inform you that I will no longer be your sons psychologist, due to the high demand of androids being psychologists instead"

"Why on earth would they do that???" Carl asks lowering the tea from his lips.

"Well it is like this, an android cannot judge you when you tell them that you just saw a dragon eating your chips" I claim with a smile.

"But why would they entirely rule out you of your job! Why not give the option to clients?" Carl replies in shock to what I just said.

"It is a wonder....but I will find a way" I cover my worry with a smile and put down my tea cup.

"Well....I do thank you for informing me of this..tragic news. I hope that you are able to stay on your feet"

It's true this will be a challenge, sure, my field pays a good amount, but I've been doing this barely a year, and I am still paying off for my college.
So it will for sure be a hassle, but I'm sure I can do it.

"Well I better be going, it was nice meeting you" I smile before leaving
