Nothing else was heard from the deafening silence of the room other than the increasing volume of the swinging metronome.

My heart... Trembling with anxiety and fear. Although my head is pounding and rampant with fear, my body stays incredibly calm. Lulled by the rhythmic ticks of the room. The doctor in front of me kept saying things. But I can't hear it. The only thing I hear is my voice inside my head. No... She didn't do it. She didn't do it. She was innocent. She was...
"She didn't...", unaware of mumbling out loud.
"Didn't what, Mr... Travis Miller?", completely dazed, I don't understand how I understood his question.
"She didn't do it... ", my lips feeling numb. Unconsciously moving and answering on it's own.
The doctor sighed in annoyance... "Why is this damn thing not working? ", talking to the big mirror at our right. Probably talking to the people at the other side of the wall. I'm being monitored by other specialists and also by a few police officers. They were talking to each other for a few while until the doctor looked at me. He? She? I can't even see clearly.
"Unless... it IS working... ", looking at me with saucer sized eyes. Easing down into the seat again, the doctor looked at me.
"Are you telling me the complete truth?",
"Yes...",
"Are you under influence?",
"Yes... ", Influence? Of what? Why did I say yes?
Sighing, the doctor picked up the clipboard again and the pen.
"We know she didn't do it. She was found dead among the others. The question is WHY did YOU do it? ",
"I didn't do it... ", leaning further to show his eagerness and intriguing attitude, laid down another question.
"Then WHO did it? ",
"The people did...",
He looks to the right to make sure that the others were listening and recording. I didn't know when I decided to register that he was a male. I guess I just decided to give up on finding out.
"Can you tell me what happened?",
The question gave me all sorts of emotions. Each one passing through with intensity and none of it is sure which one I should feel. My body stayed still even though my mind felt like short circuiting. Tears started to leak from my eyes lacking from emotion. The overwhelming emotions able to drive me physically to tears.
"It was when her name was posted on our wanted list... "
