ROMANCE
Hi, i'm Umeko. Normally.. these days i'm just sitting in class either on my phone or looking out the window, I've never really thought about the ideal idea of having a boyfriend, but most kids at my school are couples, including my friend's. well.. by that I mean all the web comics and romance novels I have read. It seems so fascinating to be in love, but to be honest, others might not think this but I don't think i'm the good looking type. sure i'm not popular.. but I don't have any friends either.. even my parents are worried. to be honest, I just have a part time job at this café place down the block from school. nobody really comes their unless its a school week, but they have great snacks, coffee and desserts. I have a apartment near the school, but since I work overtime so that I pay my tuition, I just come home from work and pass out on the couch.. I eat dinner of course! but I guess its more of a snack for the trip back to the apartment. I don't get good grades, but they let me stay in school because my father is a rich business man, and he can sue the school anytime he wants. the thing is, is that I don't have a great relationship with my dad because he is always at work in a different state, and he doesn't even send me letters, or some money to help with my tuition, and my apartment's electricity bills and taxes.so I don't have much contact, or money. im basically standing on a string, im having so much trouble with money and grades, I might not even graduate to get a job.. thats why I have no time to mess around, or be in love. I would have to take care of +1 more thing, that I don't even know how to not lose! like friends, family, the people at the bank who store money in my credit card.❦
DORMS
I decided to leave the apartments, they were to expensive, and if I kept staying their, I would end up broke. in the dorms, you share a living space with another person, we would split rent making it a cheaper, and the best option if you want pocket change. I should probably head to the dorms now, check out of the apartments and go settle in after unpacking.
I opened the door to the dorm,
Taku- "huh, who are you?"
A voice called out from behind me. I turned around seeing a dark brown haired girl standing in front of me.
Umeko- "oh uh, I just moved into the dorms. my name is Umeko."
Taku- "ohh, so your my new dorm mate, im Taku. your roommate."
she smiled as she walked inside the room.
