Beautiful isn't
Just on the outside
It is inside of us all,
It is swimming around
Inside our bodies
Wanting to shine through,
Wanting to get out
To show the world
How beautiful you are
Inside and
How beautiful I am
Inside
And out.
Beauty
Is many things,
But it is not
Just the way you look,
Beauty is many a thing,
It is many a thing
That people should recognize
Even in the worst of us,
In our worst of times,
But alas,
That is not the case,
People assume that
Beauty
Is only what is
Outside of you,
The outside of you,
But beauty is also inside,
People that say it is
Only outside,
Usually have little
Or no beauty
On the inside,
But I like to think
That everyone,
Even those few people,
All have beauty,
Even if only a smidge,
Inside at all times.
