"Ring, ring, ring."

"Ring, ring, ring."

"Ring, ring, ring."

That's the sound that Ivy Smiths woke up to. Who could it be at so early in the morning? Ivy thought.

"Baby, can you just answer the phone?" James spoke in a sleepy tone.

"Yeah, wait."

Picking his phone up he headed out the room but not before putting some boxers on. As he was answering he felt like he had forgotten something. If I forgot about it it isn't important right?

"Is this Mr. Smith?"

"Yes I'm Ivy."

"Are you coming to pick up your newly adopted child?"

That's what he had forgotten, he had adopted a child.

"O-oh yes I'm on my way right now."

"Very well, we'll be waiting for your arrival."

The line dropped and Ivy went back to the room seeing James already dressed.

"Hey James come on we have to pick up our baby."

"Don't forget to put on your clothes!"

"Of course Sorry about that baby."

"Th-that's okay, I guess." His cheeks immediately turning pink.

Hurrying to the car, Ivy clicked the keys so the doors could unlock and they both got in and buckled their seatbelts. The orphanage wasn't really a long drive since it was just a few blocks away, on the way to the orphanage James was really nervous about meeting their child since she was going to have two dads. Ivy sensing that his husband was nervous he instinctively reached over and intertwined their hands.

"It's going to be alright. Don't worry about it, I'm sure that she'd be excited to have two dads." Ivy says in a calming voice.

"You're right, I shouldn't be worrying over little things." Flashing a small smile towards Ivy.

A FEW MINUTES LATER

Arriving at the orphanage, the quickly got out of the car as they were exited to meet their new daughter. And her name is,

Yvonne.
