Kappa X Siren

Sirens POV

I was sitting in my room, thinking, I was making a list of excuses for every day that I come out of the dungeon without having killed kappa, the beacon. I went to write down another one when my pencil broke. I sighed and tossed the pencil and paper on the floor( hows there paper underwater? Don't know don't care •_•)
I had began to have a weird feeling when I'm around kappa, and trust me it was more that just the prophecy that keeps him from leaving. I had never felt this feeling, it was odd.
My thoughts were interrupted by loud chatter and commotion out side. I left my room in search for my mom to see what was happening.
I found her in a hallway away from all the people that were seemingly rushing to go somewhere.
" mom, what's happening?"
I asked her, she turned around with a slightly disappointed look on her face.
"siren, I have gave you months to kill the beacon, and fulfill the prophecy, and yet you still haven't. Im done giving you chances, I'm killing the beacon myself."
"W-what? Mom wait! I promise I will kill the beacon! Just, please, one more chance!"
I begged
" siren, I'm sorry but everyone already knows, I'm killing the beacon and your not going to stop me"
she said swimming away. N-no, I don't have much time, I need to save kappa!

I swam as fast as I could to the dungeon, but, as I arrived, it was too late. My mother was at the cell door, gripping the spear. I swam faster, as fast as I could. I saw my mother pull back the spear ready to stab kappa.
"NO"
I shoved the spear out of her hand right as she went to stab him. I looked at kappa to see if he was ok, and then I smelled it,
"shit"
kappa was on the ground, blood flowing out from beneath him. I looked at my mother who was glaring at me
"SIREN WHAT THE HELL"
she yelled
"I don't have time for this!"
I said yanking the key out of her hand. I unlocked the cell as fast as I could, hoping it wasn't too late. I got into the cell, flipping kappa onto his back to inspect the wound.
There was a large scratch across his chest and stomach, at least the spear didn't hit him as intended. He was loosing blood rapidly, at this rate he wouldn't survive 20 minuets, I needed to get him to the medical bay.
"S-siren, why-"
" no time for questions, we need to get you fixed up"
he sounded weak, obviously not doing well. i picked him up bridal style running into something on my way out, I looked up to see my mom
"siren what are you doing with the beacon! Why are you helping him!"
" BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE WILL! He's the one thing that I look forward to seeing everyday! H-he's the one thing that I care about, and I'm not about to let that thing go"

I swim past my mother, ignoring what she had to say, and rush out of the dungeon. We were almost to the medical bay when I heard yelling.
"prince siren! Stop!"
I turn around to see three guards chasing me.
My mom probably told them to capture me and kappa, by now she's probably told The whole kingdom. I won't be able to get to the medical bay without getting caught, but how will I bandage kappas wound?
I find a hidden hallway , and hide in it hoping the guards won't find up.
"How you holding up kappa"
"h-h-hurts"
he groaned in pain. I hold him close to me and place my forehead on his.
" I promise I will keep you safe, no matter what."
