Will woke up and stretched. He stood and headed to his bathroom because despite popular belief he did trim his beard. Yet when he looked in the mirror he saw that he didn't need to as his mustache was smaller than it normally was, and it had a different shape…one that seemed familiar.
Wilford just shrugged it off after all, weird stuff happened all the time and it never bothered him before so why would it now? Deciding he didn't need to trim his beard, he headed to his closet and got dressed. He chose a white button down, his gay suspenders, and pink boxers. "Looking good," he mumbled to himself while heading out.
Soon he reached the bottom of his stairs. Him and Dark shared a home, it wasn't the mansion because despite what some people believed, the mansion is only where they hang out for work, and it's more of a Haven for the egos, know each ego have their own home, with the exception of Bing and Google and willing dark who both shared separate homes.
He looked around and headed into the kitchen. He poured himself a bowl of cereal and sat on the couch watching TV. Soon he heard Dark head down stairs. Dark walked into the living room and just stared at Wil for a bit like he was reminiscing.
"Why are you staring Darky? See something you like?" he mused. Dark just shook his head "Uhm.. I like your new hair color?" Dark finally spoke as he sat down. Wil glared at him "New hair color? By George, I haven't a clue what you mean! It's still pink! Look-" he said as he pulled his phone out and cut on the camera.
When he saw that his hair was in fact not pink he merely shrugged. "Oh well, it seems you're right! I didn't dye it, but eh, sometimes hair color changes sometimes it doesn't!" he says as he looks at Dark. Darkiplier just nods "Yea… yea sure."
Wil just smiles and keeps on watching TV. Eventually later that day, he decided to order a pizza. They had a designated pizza delivery guy as he was the only kid that didn't get scared upon seeing the weird nature of Wil and dark. 'KNOCK' … 'KNOCK'... 'KNOCK' .
Wil heard and realized that his pizza was there. Getting up from the couch, he opens the door. "Oh, I'm sorry sir, this must be the wrong home!" The young boy said. Wilford seemed confused "What do you mean? Kid are you ill? It's me Wilford." He was confused. He wasn't sure what was wrong. The young boy nods "Oh my, I'm so sorry! I didn't realize it was you with the new look!" Wil rolled his eyes. "Kid, how many people do you know that have spirals in their eyes?" " Well, only you, but that's the thing! You don't have any!" Wil took the pizza and just shook his head as he paid him. He was fairly certain that the kid was just sick, because after all, his hair color, his mustache, those changes he could understand, but his spirals, he had had those for as long as he could remember. No matter how many times he tried to change it, he couldn't no matter how many contacts he wore. It would always sign through. There was something wrong. He put the pizza down in the living room and pulled out his phone once more.
He looked in the camera, and at first he saw the spirals, but as he stared longer, they started to disappear, and in their place he saw some brown eyes. But they seemed so familiar like he had once had them before. He shrugged it off and ate his pizza. He didn't want this to bother him, but he couldn't get the image out of his head, the image that something was missing. That he was incomplete.
Will tried hard to shake the feeling of this. Eventually retiring to his bed. As he lays there trying to sleep, he kept seeing images...they were. Terrible. They had him shooting holes in his friends...well, those types of images where normal, what wasn't normal was these actually affected him he couldn't laugh these off like he always did.
More so, these felt like memories; memories he had stored deep in his brain. Like he put it on the back burner and left it for too long. Suddenly it all became too much. As things started to fall into place. Guilt and shame washed over him as he screamed out. His clothes began to morph and change into that of the colonel as old memories came rushing into his mind.
He yelled out he just wanted it to stop. Dark, who was previously laying on his bed awake since he didn't need sleep, heard Wil's cry and decided to go check. He got to the door and opened it. When he saw the colonel just laying there, he felt tears spill out as Damien and Celine fought for control
"C-colonel," he strangled out as a light enveloped him. When the light went away, Damien and Celine were flung onto the ground. They immediately got up and ran to William hugging him tightly.
William opened up his eyes and looked at them "Y-y-y-y-y'all a-are alive????!!!" he said. His voice wavering and cracking. Damien and Celine both nod as they cry, but unlike, Wil these were happy tears as they thought their friend was gone forever.
"There's a lot to explain William but now's not the time-," Damien starts then Celine then added on "For now… let's just sleep. It's late. We can talk in the morning." William just nodded. It being too much for him to process, so he doesn't think about it. He just lays down and closes his eyes. His wife and his best friend right beside him. He would deal with it in the morning. There's always tomorrow.
