Ghost.
It took Alexandra two months and 26 days to say it out loud. She was depressed, it was real and it was consuming her. Alexandra and Jeremy have been best friends their entire life. But when Jeremy is killed in a car accident at the end of summer, a piece of Alex dies inside. She shuts herself out, away from all the people that she loves, blaming herself for Jeremy’s death. She starts to fall behind in her classes, and her school threatens to rebuke her scholarship unless she picks up her grades. Alex is fired from her waitress job at her local café, and people start to alienate her because she refuses to move on with her life. Amidst everything bad that is happening, Jeremy suddenly appears. His ghost finds Alex, telling her that he’s going help her get her life back. He refuses to find peace until he can help Alex find her own. Who knew that a ghost could tutor a failing student, set up dates and mend broken friendships. But along the way, Alex starts to figure out that just because Jeremy isn’t there to catch her if she falls, he’ll always be there in her heart to pull her back up again.
