How? What? When?

I am Joyce. I am 18. This is going to be a personal journal, because I have bottled up feelings for way too long.

I used to think I was a bratty teen with attention seeking issues, I never had friends, always fucked up friendships.

I was lonely. I still am lonely.

But today was the day I had an ultimate realisation. It did make a lot of things fall into place but also has messed up my mind in ways that you cannot begin to imagine.

What is the realisation, you may be wondering.

The realisation is that I am a little. It really explains a lot of things. Stuff like why I crave attention from very certain people, why words like 'sweetheart,' 'kiddo,' 'honey,' really just do something to me. Why people checking in on me, asking me to 'Not overdo myself,' really really matter to me. Why I most of the people I tend to be good friends with are well above twenty five years of age.

I don't know how much of my life am I gonna share, but it is going to be a lot. I come from a place where being a little is not identified as a personality trait. People around me are conservative, dating is a big nope. And that's why it makes everything worse.

I will slowly weave this book through different parts of my life, which have affected me in my little space, and throughout my life.

If nothing, it's more of a journal because I have no other place to vent this out to. The only friends I have are these people with whom my friendship would be affected if I tell them, as you will come to know in the course of this book.

Welcome to the head of Joyce.
