Michael de Santa or formally called Michael Townley was a bank robber back in north yankton. Until he sold out his friends to the feds in order to get away from the chaos and insured a better future in los santos. He was toss back into crime life for multiple reason then retired after they killed Devon Weston. He had issues with his family but they sorted them out. On a stormy night Michael got in a nasty argument with his wife Amanda but ultimately they ended up getting a divorce and she took the kids. Michael was done with them they didn't do anything for him and they only used him for his money though Michael still wanted to find someone to love. He was alone with no one it's hard to find some one when you are 45 years old.
