Chapter 1.

Jade sat behind her oakwood desk in her office going over her books from her resturaunt "Southern Hospitality" which served an abundance of southern style cuisines. she had an array of dishes fo your dancing tastebuds. while making sure everything was on the up and up she noticed she was recieving a phone call, she was going to ignore it until the name "CASH" flashed across the screen so she hurried and grabbed it and answered before it went to voicemail.
"waddup Cash"
"Hey dariling! do you still have  tickets fo us to buy for the launch show"said cash talking about jade"s recent business adventure.
"No boo you dont have to buy any tickets im using your shop ,so you good but what i do need is a couple boxes of your polish to sell at the event so you get a lil sumin sumin "
"so im finna get some chesse too"
"we girls gotta make sure we all get that bag suga.. if im eating ....my girls eating as well"
"speaking of eating are you still at the resturant or did you leave for the day?"
"im here making sure the inventory is good"
"can you get me a fried chicken plate,I wnt baked mac and some of those good ass geens..ugghh make that 7" she said after hearing all of the ladies screaming "me too".
"sure thing I have to come by anyway I need a fill and you kno your the only one who touches my nails"said jade knowing that cashmier was one of the baddest nail techs in the panhandle and thats why her shop was thriving.Her and her crew were the bomb she was all over instagram and facebook and she made her coins, full book almost everyday and when she wasnt worried bout appointments there were hella walk-ins.
" I got you when you bring the food"

"I love you too see you in about thirty- minutes" said hanging up and finishing the books, after checking the books at least three times, jade called her promoter to make sure he had everything he needed. after ending the conversation she got a cashapp deposit.
"why is this girl send me damn money" she said to herself she believed as long as they were family the would not have to pay for food,and jus as she was about to send the money back she got a text message.

Jade laughed at the message and locked her phone and went to the kitchen to put  cashmier's order in. she walked in the kitchen to look for van her step father and cashmier's father, and boy was he a beast in the kitchen so he was who she wanted to make cash's food. she noticed him standing over a pot of greens stiring them so she decided to jus tell him her order instead of wasting paper to write it in.
"yo van" shouted jade
" What they do angel?"
"you know i love you right" said  jade meaning every word
"its hard not to love a real niggah"said van walking over to the take out counter that she was leaning over.
"I neeed seven dinners for cash : greens ,baked mac, and southern fried chicken"
"damn allat what she pregnant?"
"haha no her and her empolyees old man"
" yo mama don't think im old niggah" van said tugging at his pants.
"thats cause shielia is nasty" said jade. her mother shielia and van met through thier daughters cashmier and jade who were the best of friends from preschool. one day jade and her mother had an disagreement and she left the house. she walked to cashmier's house and cashmier snuck her in and let her stay the night the next day her mother called the house knowing that the girls were inseperable and van answered the phone and assured shielia that jade wasnt there. he then went to cahsmier's room to ask her about the girl and when he opened the door jade was laying in the bed with cashmier sleeping he called sheilia back apologized nd let her kno that jade was indeed there and that she would be there waiting for her to pick her up. when she got there she was ready to curse and start drama but van invited her in for tea, they talked and both agreed that the hardships of being a single parent were indeed incomparable by the end of the night van had gotten her number and a date. about a half a year later van knew that he wanted sheilia and jade to be his so he adopted jade and made sheilia an honest woman and they have been happy every since.
"ok give me bout ten mintues the greens done im jus waiting on the mac its coming out the oven soon"said van bringing jade back to reality.
"ok well while you do that ill count these registers"she said and she went ahead and restocked the toiletries in the restrooms by the time she was completely done her food was ready to go.
"thank you van this food smells so good"
"this shit hittin I put my foot in that bih" said van "I shoulda asked you to make me a plate"said jade feeling her stomach growling noticing that she hadnt eaten all day.
"Its one in there for you angel ... I know my daughters.. oh and tell my other baby she got a piece of sweet potato pie in there"

"love you too jade hugging van and kissing him on the cheek grabbing the food and walking out the door crossing ther parking lot to her camdy apple red mercedes c300 that was parked next to van's jaguar xj50 and shaking her head
" This nigga stay showing out"jade said as she jumped in her ride and put on her playlist "ratchet shit" playing city girls pulling out in traffic.
"real ass bitch, give a fuck bout a nigga, big birkin bag hold five six figures ,stripes on my ass so he call this pussy tiger " she sang out loud pressing the accelerator then pressing ass so he call this pussy tiger " she sang out loud pressing the accelerator then pressing the breaks noticing she almost missed her turn in point.
"shit i almost passed it .. to much turn up" jade laughed saying to herself.she whipped in her usual parking spot and got out walking around to her trunk, and pulling out her all black air max 97's, pulling off her her gold giuseppe zanotti cruel sandles and placing them in the trunk and closing it walking around to the back seat getting the food and going into the salon, once she walked in she received hello's from all the women and spoke back. she passed out food to all of the women and then she sat down to enjoy her own food seeing that cashmier had a client she was finishing up.
"Cash ,Van said that you have a fresh piece of sweet potato pie in the bag" said jade remembering the message van sent through her
"ohhhh shit now its a party... why he play me with one piece though" said cashmier looking in the bag.
" bruh I swear u greedy"jade said laughing at her sister
"Jade we cant wait for the launch party, we got out money for the tickets" jackie one of cashmier's workers there were four and she was the oldest of them all
"no need to buy tickets.. I have a proposition for you guys"said jade putting her plate down and closing it turning toward the ladys.
"ok how do you guys feel about modeling in my show, I mean Id rather keep the money in house instead of giving it to random women and I know yall could use some extra cash"said jade smiling
"How much you paying "said tammy not even looking up from her clients hand.tammy was cashmier's most ghetto nail tech she was from miami and she told you whatever she thought whether it was mean or nice but her work kept her clients coming back they loved her work.

"I know thats right T! are you women ok with that "said jade laughing making sure all the women know and understood what they were agreeing to so she would have no blame when the time came and the just so happen to screw up.
"we good boo we can come in and well model in your show"said jackie
" good you can keep whatever you model...oh and your husbands are going to be free all night they can have these vip passes so they can get into the after party free as well "jade said passing the women orange wristbands

"Ok Jade I have one more client then I'll touch you up. Can you do me a favor and lock the door so walk-ins know that we are closed" said cashmier. Jade got up and locked the door and sat down to finish her food.
"Sure thing boo get yo money Ill sit over here and eat" said jade
"what all you have left to do hun? said tierra making jade look up but before she could respond the doorbell rung signaling that there was a client at the door so jade got up to let the person know that hey were colsed and she layed eyes on one of the prettiest women she'd ever seen well besides her and her best friend.
"Sorry Hun she's closed shes not taking anymore walk-in clients"said jade with a smile
"unt unt I got an appoinment and I done paid my deposit what you mean ya'll closed" said the girl with an attitude making jade scrunch up her face.
"cash I think yo appoinment her and she rude"said jade full of attitude
"Come on in Armani and leave all that slick shit at the door" said cashmier already knowing how armani was.
"then tell you special ass workers check they fucking attitudes" said armani looking at jade"
"Bit- jade paused when she seen cash hold up her finger telling her to hold on.

"And clearly she said walk-in clients bird brain" said Tammy
"Girl im a regular here I can ask for my money back and go somewhere the fuck else"
"Girl I will give you back them petty ass forty-Dollars and you can go across the street to nail fever and let them chinese people fuck yo cuticles up and give you a fungus yo ass cnt get rid of ... or you can chill and let me hook you up the choice is yours" said cashmier swinging her nail brush. Armani rollered her eyes and sat down letting cashmier work her majic.
"Jade u never finshed telling me what you had left to do hun"said tierra trying to break some of the tension in the room.
"Not much just have to check on the designs that come in friday... come to think of it I am looking for some people to perform for the after party though"said jade
"I might be able to help you with that I know a promoter he works with Briscoe, ball greezy and, khaotic, he might be able to help you out"said tierra
"Damn would you help me with that?"

"so Jade who you taking to your event "asked Jackie making Jade shake her head she hated when the women asked her about her love life .She was just fine single and that is how she wanted to keep it.

cashmier took her money and her tip from Armani and let her out of the shop locking the door
"I'm glad my sister has found love and I'm extremely glad that he makes her happy, keeps her dicked down and consitant" said Jade sitting in cashmier's nail chair

" nothing over the top jus a fill and some gel polish and a few stones boo"said jade looking through the polish ring picking out her favorite color money green and handing it to cashmier
" Oh you know Cranks brother is in town maybe the two would hit it off " said cashmier making jade look up,

"good thats all im asking hun" said cashmier as she did her thang on Jade's nails shaping, filing, polishing,and applying her stones. when cashmier was finished she took a picture for instagram, sat jade uder the curing , and started to clean the shop. Once she was done drying Jade went over to help sweeping, cleaning the pedicure tub , and mopping the floor.
"ok ladies its been a wonderful working day, I'm very blessed to have employees such as yourselves" said cashmier thanking her employees for a wonderful day. she than made sure that he women had all of thier belongings she cut out the lights let all of the women walk outside set the alarm and closed
