Stronger Together

Chapter One

Hopes POV:

Waking up this morning, something felt different. I walk out of my dorm room to see Josie Saltzman sleeping in the hallway in front of my door.  I gently shake her. "Josie what's going on? Why are you sleeping in the hallway? Why didn't you knock? I would have let you in!" 

Slowly waking up she replies,  "I wanted you to get some sleep. Lizzie wasn't around again and I got lonely so I came to see you." Hope sighs.  “Josie Saltzman you can always knock on my door and I'll let you sleep in Alyssa's bed. She isn't around anymore so she wouldn’t even notice. What's going on though? You never do something like this. 

She looks at me, then all of a sudden Lizzie comes from out of nowhere, strutting towards Josie in her typical outfit except this time she has a Louis Vuitton scarf on. I look at Josie then back at Lizzie and ask, "Hey Lizzie how have you been? How's Sebastian? Did he kill you yet?" Josie chuckles. Lizzie gives her sarcastic eye roll but I notice something deeper hidden in her reaction. Maybe I should ask her about it later.  She grabs Josie's arm and says "Hope Mikaelson, don't you worry about me and Sebastian. We are happy and if you must know, he bought me this scarf." I scoff, "Okay Lizzie. You can take it off though it's not even cold in here." 

Lizzie and Josie walk away, but before she leaves Josie whispers 'See what I mean hope'.

I close my door only to be greeted by Alyssa Chang asterial projecting into our room.  I look at her and say, "Don’t worry, none of your shit has been touched, so can you leave now? Thanks." 

Being concerned for Lizzie is the last thing I need right now but seeing Josie sleeping on the floor doesn’t help and I am starting to get worried. I head downstairs to go see what Ric knows about this.
