If there is a scenario like this, you can always credit or state if your cover is inspired by a book or a movie that already exists, there is no harm in that.

Just state the title of the original movie or book series. If possible, state the photographer, the website, the cast and things like that.

What if you used an artist's work? Of course, it's sometimes hard to find the original artist on the internet. If this kind of scenario happens, it's okay to credit where you get it from.

If it's directly from an anime, you can credit the title of the anime and the illustrator. If it's a fan art of the anime, you can credit the title of the anime and the name of the artist who drew the fanmade art.
