Unhappily Ever After

Chapter 1- Love at First Sight

Jill is a very lovesick girl. She always had her nose in books. One book in particular. "Jane and Jeff", it was called. She loved this book so very much and read it whenever she had time. She especially liked the main villain, Xavier; she had a crush on him. One day she was walking to school with her friends Mac and Sean. Sean was very loyal. Mac was very chatty and kind of sassy.

"Hey, guys. Have you read Jane and Jeff?", Jill began, "It's so good I can't stop reading it!" Jill exclaimed.
"Hey, calm down, girl!" Mac teased. "You've been talking about that book since last week!"
"More like since last year." Sean scoffed.
"Hey, that's kinda rude!" Someone yelled from the other side of the street.

He had a soft but serious voice. Jill had fallen in love already.
"Where are you going? I'm going to the school over there", he said.
"Yes, u-us too!" Jill said, nervously.
The stranger came closer. He was the boy of Jill's dreams. She really liked him.

"Are you okay?" Asked the boy. He flipped his hair out of his face. Jill was getting more flustered by the way he bit his lip at her.
She looked away and whispered to Mac, "He is so cute! What do you think?"
Mac brushed her long shaggy hair out of her eyes and replied "Well, I don't think he's all that much"
Jill sputtered, "Oh, come on. He is hot"
Mac looked the other way. "I don't like boys."
Jill paused for a moment and said "Okay, well if you were straight, would you like him?"
Mac bit her lip and looked back. "Maybe"
Jane looked back and said "Yes. I'm more than okay since you're he- and I don't mean that I uh- Hey, guys we have to go to school!" Jane ran away towards the school without her friends.
