It was an uneventful friday night, Bea was just lying in her bed scrolling through her social media accounts when someone's caller ID flashed across her screen.
"Hello"
"Hi" she can sense that he's smiling even though she can't see him.
"what is it? "
"ahm babi are you free tomorrow? "
"hmmm, not sure eh, why ba? "
"kasi my friends were planning to go to La Union and gusto sana kita isama."
"oh, i remember it's weekend with the ninjas pala"
"great then! you can also ask them to come with us"
"ok, I'll call you back pag nagconfirm na sila."
Everyone agreed to hit LU for the weekend and it was planned out immediately. Thirdy still has a prior commitment though so he would just come after.
It was already 8 in the evening when Thirdy arrived in the resort where they will be staying. The group was already out partying in flotsam.
He just got the extra key to his and Bea's room when his phone rang.
"Hello Van"
"Bro, san ka na? Your girl is already tipsy. "
"hayy, sabi ko naman sa kanya hintayin muna ako before getting wasted, cge sunod na ako dyan bro."
He immediately changed into a beach appropriate outfit and went where they are.
When he arrived, the first thing he did was to look for his girl. She's in middle of the crowd surrounded by their friends.
"Bei, how many bottles did you already have? " he said as he approached her
"oh you're here na pala bab" she said and automatically clung to his arms.
He was surprised because she never showed affection towards him in public mainly because they're trying to keep whatever they have as private as they can. They don't want for too many people to meddle with their relationship because it may go out of hand.
"lasing na nga sya" Thirdy thought
As the night deepens, most of them was already drunk but thirdy chose to drink lightly because he knows how Bea is when she has drank too much.
"Bab, let's go back to our room na para you can rest already" he said while bea was clinging to him.
"ito naman! minsan lang naman to, It's been a while since I last drank" she mumbled
"dumadami na mga nakakareconize satin Bei, we should get going"
"let them be, I don't care!! " He's sure it was just a drunk statement.
napailing nalang sya while slowly dragging her to get out of the crowd. He said his goodnights to some of their friends who's still there and even ordering more drinks.
When they we're halfway through, some group of fans approached him and asked if they could take a picture with him and so he obliged, slightly hiding Bea at his back.
Before they could walk again, Bea hugged him from the back, he stood still for a moment, so some more fans were able to take a photo with him. Bea slowly held her head up upon hearing the increasing voices beside her but just leaned her head once again on thirdy's shoulder and just hugged him tighter.
Thirdy has no choice but to walk that way, walking while Bea was back hugging him.

It was sunday afternoon and they already went back to Manila after that short LU getaway.
