It started out like any normal day. Jess was waiting out side for me to finish getting ready for school. I hear her call me. "Come on girl l don't want to be late today" There is new guy coming today. "Ok" l call back
As lam putting my shoes on and running out the door. Bye Mum love ya see u after school. l yell as l run out the house and down the driveway. Jess runs up and gives me a hug and we get in her car and head to school.
As we pull up in the car park there is a group all standing around a beautiful sport car. Jess finds a car park not far away. As we get out l hear Jess say "Hey Ab's we have double maths up first" as she calls my name l look over and see the group all start walking away and in the middle there is this hunk of a guy. He looks over our way and l lock eyes with him his eyes are as Green as a Emerald and his skin has a beautiful tan. I look away and he smiles and walks off.
"WOW He's a hunny" Jess says as we walk to our lockers. Did u see the look he gave u. As she hits me in the arm. I look at her with a sad face and rubbing my arm like it hurt. "Yes" l respond. We get to our lockers and l feel a strange tingle all over. Like someone is watching me. I look around but don't see anything out of the normal. So l get my stuff ready for math and start to go to class. Jess has already gone as he has to catch up with the teacher befor class. As lam walking to class l feel a tap on my shoulder and l turn aroumd to see the new guy. He looks at me.
"Sorry if l scared u lam new and was wondering if you could tell me where the math room is please" l most of looked so stumped as he looks at me funny and says "Oh Sorry lam Sam please to meet you & you are"? Sam asked me.
Hi There lam Abby. I am going to the maths room so if u want you could follow me. I tell him blushing. As we walk l keep getting these strange tingle all over. There is something about him he isn't like the rest of the guys here. As l go to open the door he gets to it first and opens it and offers for me to go inside with a smile on his face. I smile back and go in to find Jess in the 3rd row. Sam walks over and sits behind me.
The Teacher walks in and l get my books out ready Jess does the same. As class goes on l get the feeling he is still watching me and it feels nice but is it just in my head or is he really looking at me? I question my self.
As l breath in l get the smell of him it's so good a mix of vanilla and pine. It's like being in a pine forst but so much sweeter.
Lam lost in my thoughts of what l could be doing with Sam when Jess taps my arm and tells me to that it's time to go? I look at her stressed out like. She laughs and tells me to not stress she will lend me her book to catch up. As we go to leave he's arm brushes mine and l feel a spark & l look up at him as he walks past he give me a wink and keeps walking.
I look at Jess and once he is out of the room l tell her what's going on. She tells me not to stress about it now and to see what happens as the day goes on we have English next and the sports after lunch. We get back to our lockers and put our stuff away as l close the door l jump back as Sam's head is right there. I look at him surprised to see him. He laughed at my face and again apologise for scarring me again but he wanted to know where his next class was and as l was nice enough to show him last time he figured he would ask again! As l get my breath back Jess asked what classes he has. She draws him a map to show him where all the rooms are and how to get to them. He Thanks us both and leaves. As he leaves us l get a cold feeling like he has taken my warmth with him. I go to talk to Jess but she is already walking to our next class. She looks back and tells me to hurry up. We get to our class and as we walk in l see him again sitting in the back row.
What the l say under my breath Jess looks at me and tells me to hurry up we go over to our sits and get ready. As we get to our sits l see him talking to a guy and they both look over at me and the go back to talking. I shake my head and go sit down. The Teacher walks in and asks all to be quite and get out our books to page 135. As time goes on l start looking at the clock waiting for lunch to hurry up as l forgot to get something for breakfast this morning. I get back to work and finish up with 15minutes spare so l just sit there quietly. Jess finish her lot as well and we start shearing notes.
She ask me what l was up to latter on as there is ment to be a party going on and she wants me to get with her. As it's Friday l guess it's ok. The bell goes and we pack up and leave. On the way to the cafeteria we stop by out lockers and put our stuff away. As l tune to Jess l feel a hand on my back l turn my head to see it's Sam. I ask him if he is ok there and he smiles and tells me his all good l go to walk off and he holds me back. I tell Jess to get our sits and l will be there soon. She walks off laughing she waves bye.
I look back at him and ask what does he want? He looks at me with a big smile and asks if l wanted to come to a beach party he was having at his dad's place this weekend. As he don't know many people yet. I looked at him as l thought about it. I look at him and ask if it's his party that on tonight as if so l was going to go with Jess. His eyes shine as he looks at me. I get that warm feeling again and he tells me yes it is and he was happy l was going & to not forget my swimmers. I tell him ok as l walk off. I meet up with Jess she is with Jake and Sally. I walk over. As l sit down with my milkshake and hot chips they all laugh. What??? Sally looks over my shoulder and back at me. What's with Mister hot stuff over there & you! I take a sip of my drink and tell her l have no idea. He is following me like a storker. All l did was show him to his first class. Not he is asking me to his place. WHAT!!!!! They all say at once? Yer that party that on tonight it's at his father's place. They look at my with there mouths open. Jess is the first to talk. So are we all going?? Sally looks at Jake & they both say yes at the same time. Jess looks over at me as l look at her. I told him l was going with you.
She gives me her best smile and we all laugh. As time goes on we watch as all the cheerleader strat to walk over and start talking to him. They drag him over to where they sit and with the football team. I watch for a bit as they all start to talk and laugh. Sally gets up and tells us to all go with her as she wants to go outside. The 5 of us get up and head out side to the big tree on the grass it's our spot. As we leave l get the tingle feeling again and l look back to see him watch me. I keep walking with the others. We have 30mins to we have to get ready for spots. So we all just sit down and talk about our day so far. The next thing the bell goes and we all head to the gym. Once changed we head out to meet up with the gym teacher. We are all split up in to groups and sent to do a hunt we have a map and have to find the end. Who ever gets there first and back wins.
