Chapter 2

Cole POV

"What has you in a fit?" Marcus asked me as I was running on the treadmill.

"Nothing," I said. Marcus gave me a look.

"I know when you're lying," he said as he gave me a concerned look.

"Yeah Cole, what's up? You didn't say much on the bike ride here," Kyle said coming over to us.

I sighed. "I have to go to Pittsburgh tomorrow," I said as I slowed down my running into a walk.

"So?" Kyle asked.

"What's the problem with Pittsburg? You're only gonna be an hour away," Marcus said. I shook my head.

"No, Pittsburgh P-A," I said as I turned the treadmill off.

"Why are you going there?" Trystan asked.

"You're going into Steeler's country!" Marcus yelled. I looked around to see if anyone else heard. It was just us as the gym.

"Yeah, my mom's friend has cancer and they don't think she's gonna live much longer, she wants to go up and say goodbye," I said as I grabbed a towel and wiped my sweat off.

I didn't think it would be safe to tell them about this girl I'm gonna be coming back with. I don't want them to freak out just yet.

I grabbed my water bottle and took a sip. Marcus came over to me.

"How long are you going to be away?" He asked. I shrugged.

"Maybe a week, I don't know," I answered truthfully. My parents didn't tell me how long we were gonna be in Pittsburgh, all I know is I'm coming back with a wife.

After a few hours, we decided it was time to go. We got back on our bikes and went home.

"Hey Cole make sure you're packed and ready for tomorrow morning," my mom said as she was reading a book in the living room.

"Yeah I'll be ready," I said as I started to climb the stairs to take a shower. I turned around. "Mom?" I asked.

"Yes?"

"What's the girls name?" I asked.

My mom smiled. "Her names Olivia."

I nodded my head. 'Olivia' I thought.

I jumped in the shower again and just thought about Olivia. It's a beautiful name.  I hope she likes sports and being active. And hopefully she'll be okay with moving to LA, to let me live out my dream. Maybe she has the same dream too, of being an actress.

I got out of the shower and put on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. I got out my suitcase and started packing.

The rest of the night went by fast. Before I knew it, it was time to go to sleep. I texted my friends telling them I'll keep them posted about Pittsburgh, before I started to wonder about Olivia again.

I really hope my mom's right about this girl. I don't think I'm ready to take on this much of a commitment, but I'm willing to try. As long as Olivia is willing to do this as well. I can't wait to meet her.

Next day (Still Cole's POV)

"COLE! ITS TIME TO GET UP! WE HAVE TO LEAVE IN AN HOUR!" I heard Kylee yell while knocking on my door. I slowly got up and put on a t-shirt and new sweats. I brushed my teeth before putting my toothbrush and tooth paste in my bag.

I grabbed the last few stuff that I would need before taking my suitcase down the stairs.

"You ready Cole?" My dad asked me. I nodded my head.
