Chapter Thirteen

Caleb's lips are so soft, so delicate that I can't bear myself from parting our lips away, his lips are invading mine, his tongue pressures harder and harder, at one point I just gave in.
Without hesitation we open the door leading into our room, I'm looking at him like a predator looks like his feast, he throws me on the bed, and I start taking my own shirt off when I hear my cell phone ringing for the second time.

Shit.

'''Do you want to get that? It may be important.'' Caleb stops kissing me and I whimper. I need his touch.
He takes him hands off my waist and grabs the phone from my back pocket. I shiver from the touch of his fingers. Handing me my cellphone, I see his eyes devouring me as well.

'' Just a second.'' I put my shirt back down and grab the flashing screen from his hands.

Eleven missed calls. From Theo.

I keep looking at the screen and looking back at what I was just doing. The guilt comes riding back on my mind.
Was I actually going to sleep with Caleb?
God, I'm a horrible person.

I click the red decline button on the screen and sit back on the bed. Caleb didn't say anything when he handed me the phone, maybe he didn't see anything.

'' I'm sorry.'' I whisper in remorse.

'' You didn't want to?'' He asks eyeing the messy bed that we almost made love to each other.
I slip myself closer to him and grab urgently his hands. I could never feel sorry about that.

''No, I'm not sorry about that, I'm sorry for the situation." I settle down on the bed and continue "I know we both are in relationships, and it's just the most fucked up situation possible."

Caleb's sexy smirk is back and I feel a tingle in my chest.
How can I be so attracted to this man?

''You have nothing to feel sorry about." He gently says back. "I know how this situation is complicated but I meant what I said in the car.'' Images of our both wet body's kissing in my car flashing through my mind. ''I can't stop thinking about you Emma. I really like you and I want to get to know you better. If that means that we have to sneak around then so be it.'' he hands rub my back and I feel the tension leaving. I place a small kiss on his lips and whisper a thank you in his face.

'' I'm hungry, Do you want to get something to eat?'' I ask. He nods in agreement and when He starts lifting his body up, my eyes dart down to his erection almost popping out of his boxers. He let's out and embarrassed chuckle and I join him.

''Do you need a minute?'' I ask while trying to hide my laughter.

''Yes please.'' He says sitting back down on the bed, covering up the erection behind the covers.

After Caleb got the address of the last place Gwen was sent to, we decided to have lunch at a diner near by. The place is quite simple but the smell is heavenly, it reminds me of the dinner near our school. My school. Sometimes I forget that Caleb is an actual adult.

Our booth is near a large window, we can see everything and everyone from this modest town. I sit in front of Caleb in the blue booth and ending up ordering the same as him.

'' I like this town. It's cute.'' I initiate the small talk, hoping that I can get more information about his life.

''Me too.'' A young waiter comes to our table and pours some water in to our cups. , I smile at his politeness but urging that he goes away so I can talk to Caleb. I take a sip of my water while eyeing Caleb ; his fingers are stroking his green shirt that matches perfectly his eyes. He seems nervous. Why?

''Is everything okay?''

'' Yeah, I'm good. This diner just reminds me of home.'' I sift anxious in my seat. I want to know more him. Like reading my mind he continues '' I lived in a small part of Savannah and when I went to college there was a diner just like this near by.''

'' That's nice. Do you miss it?''

'' Yes, I do.'' When I'm about to ask him the reason he moved away I'm interrupted by the waiter bringing our food. The smell of fries and onion rings makes my stomach rumble. I grab my food and start devouring it without thinking twice. I take a look in front and see Caleb looking directly at me.

'' I'm sorry, didn't noticed I was that hungry.'' Embarrassment taking over my face I grab a napkin and start dabbing my mouth. He smiles and nods his head towards the fries.

'' I'm just glad to see you eating. You haven't eaten anything since yesterday.''

'' Finding out about a abandoned sister can do that to a person.'' Memories of my parents arguing about Gwen come to mind.

''Hey.'' Caleb puts his hands on top of mine and places a kiss on top. '' Don't get upset. We found her, and I bet your ass that she is going to love you.'' I smile in return and feel a warmth spreading in my heart. You found her, for me.

After Lunch Caleb and I head on our way to the address where Gwen lives, or lived. I don't know if she's even here but the hope in my heart starts jumping up and down in thrill. In the truck where they are no interruptions I ask Caleb why did he leave his hometown.

'' You're a curious little thing aren't you?'' his chuckle is so sexy that I have to restrain every part of my body to not kiss him, again.

'' Yes I am.''

'' It's complicated Em.''

I lift my eyebrow at this mysterious and vague respond and It get's me thinking about that big folder that I found and accidentally dropped at my Mom's office, maybe it's has all of his secrets; I confessed that I tried to look at it again but I didn't want to invade his privacy like that.

"Did you sleep with Madison?" I blur out, Remembering of our discussion that day in school. His green eyes pop out giving me a confused look.

'' Who told you that?'' I feel a pain in my chest, like he just shoved me to the ground. He didn't denied it. Madison may be crazy but she wouldn't lie about sleeping with Caleb.

"Em. They are a lot of things you don't know about me and I know you have little reasons to trust me but I swear I will tell you! But don't believe a word that bitch says." He's voice is so sincere that makes me want to kiss him again.

"Okay." That's all I say.

When we pull up in the driveway we are amused by the big gray house in front of us, it kinda looks like a rustic farm house.

What draws my attention is the front; It starts with  a beautiful little garden with colorful flowers and in the back has a old pink tree house. I love tree houses, I always wanted one but my father was always busy, so eventually I got older and I never asked for it again.

I'm nervously dangling my hair in front of this place that my sister has been for the past seventeen years and now I'm frozen. What will I say? Does she want to meet me?

"It will be fine. I promise." Caleb grabs my hand and with a simple gesture he calms me down.

We start walking trough the green garden and around the pink old tree house. I'm going to meet her. My little sister.
