Daffodil’s POV
It was a hot day. And it was my first day of senior year. Also my last year of high school. I had a new girl. I was excited, she was described as, from what the principal has said, fun, outgoing yet shy and quiet. Sometimes curious.
“Daffodil! Looking nice!” Gigi said.
“Thank you, Gi. You look nice also.” I said, smiling at her.
I and Gigi have been friends since kindergarten. We know each other very well. Such as, she knows my style constantly changes so... you better get a picture of me this week! I know that she has eyes that change depending on her mood. Her eyes could be blue one day and hazel the next.
“Omg! Daff?!” Bella said, “ You look so mature!”
“Thank you, Bella. You look cute.” I said.
“Thanks!” Bella said, gleefully.
I’ve known Bella only since Freshman. She’s bubbly… And annoying. That’s all she does, talk, talk, talk. It gives me migraines, so I don’t invite her to sleepovers.
“Any news on the new girl?” I asked, mildly curious.
“Yep! Turns out, she’s supposed to be arranged a partner!” Gigi said.
So… You might be thinking, “What? What do you mean Daffodil?” I mean, the partner you’re put with is the person you’re stuck with for the rest of your existence, sadly, I have not been assigned one, so that’s fun.
“Daffodil Juk, please come to the office!” The loudspeaker blasted.
