25OO Pyramid Olympics Part two, let the games begin.

'Where am I?' I think as my eyes search and my brain itches for an answer. My eyes drop down to look at my shoes and pants. They're brown, heavy duty clothing, and my backpack. It's not that full.  Bright yellow with the words 'P. Olympics' embroidered on the front of it wont make it easy to hide in the shrubs and hedges forming the thick walls of the puzzling Olympic Grounds. My hands make their way up to my ears and in one lies an earpiece with a cord connected to it. The cord runs down my arm and stops at my chest. On the right side of my chest is my name sewn into the uniform allowing the other competitors to know who their kill was.

My head moves left and right. I see the shrubs and tall hedges forming the maze walls are covered in barbed wire.

"When you all hear the horn, you will make your way to a wooden post. You will be brought underground to complete a challenge. Not just any challenge, but a deathly one. If not completed correctly can lead to fatal death. One of your loved ones will be able to communicate to you, but only during the challenges.

Please, only start moving after the horn blows. Let the games begin, shall we?" The host's voice beams through my ears and his words rattle around in my head.

The horn follows his instructions, screeching.

I burst out running doing everything possible to make it to the corner where Odair would be waiting. --WAIT-- , every man for himself.

The thought of Odair not caring for me bring tears to my eyes. I can't let that salty liquid escape my pupils now. I hold them in with all of my might and continue running. I throw my hand backwards and get a hold on the sheeth of arrows Johan decided to give me. stealthily pulling an arrow out, my eyes beam every which way searching for an enemy. Luckily, none in sight. I load my arrow and get ready to aim.

"Hi." a voice says behind me. Without looking, without realizing I sent the arrow in the direction of the voice and turn back to see what I shot. There who lay before me is a man with a camera still in his grasp. I can't help but to roll my eyes at his stupidity. I inspect the camera and the lifeless body before me. Not knowing what to do, I pick the camera up to my face. The only words I can get out are

"This is cruel, and for this idea this is what you get." I say  then violently throw the camera onto the ground and kick it repeatedly. Gritting my teeth I move on and hear the loud horn blasted over the speakers.

'Great,' I think. 'just what I need.' I stomp back to the my starting position and wait.

Chapter 11

"Anelle," a voice cries flooding my ear. I jump and load an arrow almost instantaniously.

"It's me, Clo', I am able to talk to you in your earpiece like the host said." The voice continues. "Make your way to the wooden post and get ready to complete your first challenge. There I will explain the rest.

scramble up a tree searching for a post. I spot one and I climb down the long brown trunk.

Practically tripping over my own two feet I make my way to the post. Just as I am starting to catch my breath I feel a sudden drop. In seconds I am in a room with ropes everywhere. 'This is the deathly challenge?' I think, 'Great.'

"Hello, Anelle, are you there?" Clo' asks impatiently.

"Yes, Im fine. Now what do I have to do for this deathly challenge?" I question examining the room.

Well, for starters, move over into the left corner and run down the side until you reach the other corner, but stay on the sides." She informs as I stealthily make my way to the left corner.
