Introduction and tour

 

Riley's pov.

The annoying beeping kept getting louder and louder as the bright sun beamed through my open window. I groaned loudly and slammed my hand onto the snooze button on my alarm. And sure enough as soon as I finally drift off to my sleepy wonderland, the beeping begins again. Peaking my eyes open to look at the time and holy crap! Its 6:10am, I'm late! I'm supposed to be on campus, early for my introduction and tour, in 20 minutes!

"Fuck, Fuck, Fuck! Come on Riley! It's your first day and you're already late! You're gonna make such a bad first impression!" I yell at myself as I sprint towards the bathroom, grabbing my clothes on the way. I take a fast shower only washing my body because I washed my hair yesterday. I quickly put on the outfit I picked out last night. I hurried my ass out the door grabbing my stuff on the way. I unlocked my dark green truck and pulled myself up onto the seat. I applied makeup at the stop lights on the way.

I finally arrive at the metal gates wearing this:

I drove up to the small brick building beside the gate and told the people sitting inside my name and they checked with someone over the phone before finally letting me in.

I went straight for private parking and jumped out of the car, gripping my briefcase as I ran past many confused students. Finally bursting through the doors to the school and running into the front office where they interviewed me.

"Mrs. Morgan, you're 6 minutes late. I hope you know that is unacceptable. Make this a warning, do it again and you get a strike." The principal tells me in a stern tone.

"Yes sir, I'm very sorry. I won't give you any excuse, I take full responsibility. I assure you this wont happen again." I announce before he gestures for me to take a seat in the chair on the opposite side of his desk. I take a seat and wait for him to begin.

"As you know I am Mr. Jeong but please address me as sir. I've already explained almost everything in the interview so this will be pretty easy. Here are the rules.

1. No alcohol or drugs on campus
2. No smoking on campus
3. No being late
4. No romantic relationships with the other professors or students
5. No gum on campus except for in the gym
6. No leaving during school hours without consulting me
7. No outside visitors allowed on campus without consulting me
8. No easy punishments, we are very strict in this college so if a student acts out, feel free to be mean
9. No food or drinks in the classrooms, coffee and water are ok
10. No late work, do not accept any late assignments from your students
