hmm, i'm not a big fan of rules so let's keep it simple

when you're actually roleplaying, please use correct grammar and punctuation.  like it's fine if you're using text slang out of roleplay but please keep your actual roleplays as grammatically correct as possible.

also aesthetics are fine, like an aesthetic i use is that i don't use caps.  that isn't bad grammar, that's just aesthetics, so ye~

2- please don't give me one liners!  if you don't want to write paragraphs that's fine - i honestly hate writing loads and loads for a reply, but my replies on a phone are usually 4+ lines and on an ipad (which is what I use) or computer they usually take up a line and a bit.  i want something to reply to y'all!  gimme someadat juicy juicy plot uwu

so~ like this:
annabelle stretched out her arms in front of her, taking in a long breath as she mentally prepared herself for the day ahead of her.  her books were by her bed and her phone was on her bedside table.  though, being the forgetful person she is, she had no idea where she'd put her clothes.

and not like this:
annabelle woke up.

but also please don't write me an entire novel on what your character is doing!  to me, there's a very important thing about roleplay and that's how much time your reply covers.  you need to have a forwards/backwards bounce between you and the person you're roleplaying with.  if it helps, try to cover 5-10 seconds in each reply - this gives the other person time to reply as well!  unless you're both aware that one person's character is waiting or doing something which consists of nothing - then you can speed things up or decide together on a time skip.

don't hate~ we all happy here, we all good, we gonna get along y'know?  gotta stay happy to stay excited.  roleplay is all about bonding, so let's be friends!  obviously that doesn't mean you're exempt from the rules... i don't want anyone to be unhappy but if you don't follow the rules properly, we can't be friends ;w;~
oh, the password is to name your favourite (or your most recently listened to if you're indecisive like me) song!  i love finding new music~

don't tag me every ten seconds pleaseee- i will try to respond to you as often as possible but if i get bored of the roleplay, i'll probably stop responding.  i'm too shy to tell you if i don't think the roleplay's gonna go anywhere (though i'll try to be as honest as i can) so if you think the roleplay's hitting a dead end from early on, just tell me and we can revise the plot and restart!  i literally take offence at nothing, don't worry

though, if i take too long to get back to you, i might have just not seen it.  if you feel the need to just go grab my attention then give me a little nudge - if i reply then you know i'm still with ya~

oh!  and if we start talking but i suddenly stop, there's a chance you haven't commented the password~ if you don't comment the password then i'll stop talking to you because sometimes i forget to check.  though i don't know why i'm putting that here - if you're reading this then the chances are you're gonna comment the password owo

don't overpower your characters please!  every character has weaknesses.  like, say this one guy/gal's got really really good sight, but his/her weakness is that he/she lacks in his/her other senses because he/she tends to rely on sight for everything.  y'know?

submissive and dominant characters.  so, in most of these roleplay scenarios there will be one submissive and one dominant character to choose from when it comes to relationships (platonic or romantic).  if you decide to play a sub role, you've also gotta play a dom.  i play submissive characters much better than i play dominant characters so like, yeah haha.
also please, please don't be that person who makes a dom and then ditches that roleplay to just use the sub. no. big no no. don't do it. i will not reply until i know you're replying to both.
