[So... Welcome to my new book, I know it has been forever since I written anything on any of my accounts. Well, here's a fanfic idea I had.

Oh yeah, I have only watched Season 1 of RC9GN as I can't find Season 2 anywhere.]

"Hey guys!" Madison said as she walked over to Danny, Sam and Tucker.

"Hey Maddie," Danny replied.

"Yeah... hi..." Sam said between gritting teeth. "What are you doing here? Should you be with Paulina or something?"

"Calm down, Sam. There's nothing to-"

Danny was cut short as he was shoved to the the lockers by Sam, who whisper-shouted, "Her father is your arch nemesis, hello!! Do you think I'm alright with you and Tuck socialising with her? What if this is just another plot to destroy you?!"

Tucker walked between the two with his palms out, signalling them to stop quarreling.

"Tuck, I know you like her and she's helping Danny fight ghosts but seriously..." Sam was practically fuming.

"Uh, guys... I'm right here," Madison sighed and turned around. "I'm just want to let you guys know I'll be out of town for two weeks." Her head hung low as she walked away.

Of course, even on the same team, Team Phantom would never fully trust her. At least when she goes to Norrisville, all that would be put aside. No ghosts or ghost hunting... or paranoid friends.

[Timeskip]

Vlad took in a deep breath of the air in the new small town and said, "Ah... Nice to smell non-ectoplasmic, fresh air, isn't it, Maddie?"

"You're talking to me or the cat?" Madison asked as she noticed her father stroking a chubby, white cat on his lap.

"Why not both?"

Madison sighed and mumbled, "Why are you such a crazed up fruitloop?" She stared out the window, resting her head on her arm on the window frame, not believing that she's heading to school right after she arrived.

"We've arrived at the school, sir," the chauffeur said before he unbuckled his belt.

"No no no, I can get it myself," Madison said as she opened the door and exit her father's limousine.

She took a look at the outside of the school. She was glad it was a normal school, like Casper High... minus the ghosts. Her ghost sense didn't go off which meant that there really isn't any ghosts to worry about.

She took a quick look at her schedule, first was science with Mrs Driscoll, and the bell for class rang. Oh no, don't wanna be late on her first day. Seeing just about no one in the halls, she went invisible and intangible and flew around the school to get around faster.

She phased up to the floor above and saw an old lady walking around with a skeleton by her side and talking like a madman- or mad-woman?- to it and the class.

Madison phased all the way through the floor and walked out to see which classroom it is. To her dismay, that crazy lady was her teacher.

Madison knocked the door and stepped in shyly. "Is this the science lab?" she asked in fake confusion.

"Ah, the new kid!" Mrs Driscoll said, clapping her hands in enthusiasm. She looked over to the tables and said, "Well since we have an odd number, why don't you join a pair?"

She nodded and examined her classmates. She finally found a pair of numbskulls that seems too dimwitted to catch onto any time she might have to disappear but smart enough to come up with valid excuses.

Both we're dressed in McFist-branded clothing from head to toe. The tall, skinny one had purple hair and wore a blue hoodie, a red shirt with a white symbol on it, blue jeans and red sneakers. The other short, chubby guy was a redhead with similar clothing but a blue shirt and teal jacket.

"Hey... uh... " Madison tried to greet as she walked over before she realizes that she never got their names.

Before the raven-haired kid could introduce himself, the redhead butt in and said, "I'm Howard Weinerman. This is my bro Randy Cunningham. I'm glad you chose to partner with us."

She looked at him with a raised brow and hoped he wasn't going to be like the boys at Casper High, who only like her because her father was the mayor of Amity Park.

"Uh, sorry about my friend here," Randy apologised, giving Howard a firm look.

"It's alright... " Madison replied as she dragged an empty seat from the table beside over to side with them.

"Um, are you sure about partnering with them, Ms Masters?" Mrs Driscoll asked. "They're real troublemakers... "

"I'm good, Mrs Driscoll, maybe I can't even influence them to behave during my short stay."

Mrs Driscoll went back to teaching and Madison tried to pay attention. Keyword: tried. Randy and Howard wouldn't stop chatting, especially Howard!

"Can you guys just shut up?!" Madison whisper-shouted, her brown eyes flickering to a glowing yellow. The "scary eyes" Uncle Plasmius called it. She faced back to the front.

"Something's up with her," Randy whispered in Howard's ear.

"What do you mean?" Howard whispered back. "A smokin' hot chic's sitting with us and you're worried? What the juice, man?"

"Did you not catch the eye thing?"

"What eye thing?"

Randy basically flipped out and angrily gesturing "How the cheese do you not catch it?!", which caught the attention of Mrs Driscoll.

"Cunningham!" she screeched. She used the skeleton as a vantriloquist dummy and said in a deeper voice, "A week of detention for disturbing her lesson!"

"What? Aw, come on... But Jerry..." Randy tried to argue.

"Wait, the skeleton dude has a name?" Maddie asked.

"You'd get used it," Howard said and Randy groaned

"See what you did, Howard?!" Randy blamed. Howard obviously felt no remorse.

Randy's bag began to glow a bright red and he ducked under the table. "Howard, I've got to shloomp," he said.

"What?" Madison said as she overheard Randy's whisper.

"Uh... " He stood up and raised his hand, "Mrs Driscoll, I've gotta use the restroom!" Before she could reply, Randy left... but while holding a red and black hardcover book.

Randy ran to the nearest bathroom and hid in a cubicle as he opened the Ninja Nomicon. His mind got sucked in, leaving his motionless body hunching over, about to fall.

In the Nomicon, Randy fell from the ceiling and landed face-flat onto a sandy ground. He got up and looked in front of him go see big, bold words that carried a message.

Beware the ghost who is lurking in town.

Randy was confused but he didn't have much time to think as the ground started to shake and pulled him in.

Randy woke up and fell off the toilet seat onto the floor. "Beware the ghost who is lurking in town?" he asked himself. "What the cheese, Nomicon? What ghost? Who's lurking around? Ugh, why can't you give me a straight answer?!"

He suddenly heard someone flush the toilet and stepped out of his cubicle. The boy simply stared at him and walked away, wondering if all his seniors would be like that.

Randy walked back to class feeling really confused.

[Welp. By posting your story, you're exposing it to critism, right? This my first RC9GN fanfic and, like, my 7th attempted DP fanfic. I hope you enjoy it!]
