It's been exactly one week and two days since I've conversed with Harry. One week and two days I've replayed the same scenario in my head over and over again. I can't help but think he's playing one of his selfish games, trying to draw me in like a predator hunting for his prey. I can't seem to shake him off, and I hate it, because I know without admitting it, I'd turn myself in willingly.
I really need to stop over thinking this.
I curled up on the sofa, flipping through the channels hoping to find some sort of program to entertain me. Nothing seemed to spark an interest, I huffed throwing the remote on the other side of the couch.
I internally cheered as the ding on the microwave signified that my pot noodle was in fact ready as I trudged along, the blanket enveloping me in warmth as I reached to the plastic container and hissing when I burnt my finger.
"Shit, shit, shit" I cuss, relief washed over me as the cold water soothed my reddened finger tips, continuous pounding on my front door made me reluctantly turn the water off and make my way to the door trying not to trip over the ends of the blanket and tightened it around me.
Knock knock
"Alright alright" I call out in annoyance and swung open the door, my face fell as I looked at the person in front of me, a splitting grin formed on my face as I dropped the blanket and wrapped my arms around the persons neck, tugging them close.
"Liam" I breathed, a smile fell on his face as I stepped back, he studied my attire, smile never leaving his face and I can't help but wonder if his cheeks hurt from the strain.
"Hey Liv" he let's out a laugh at my reaction, I shake my head trying to get over the situation.
"What are you doing over here?!" I gesture for him to follow me into the apartment and close the door after he enters.
"Me and Sophia decided to have a fresh start, besides we miss you" I smiled warmly at him as we both collapse on the leather, the cold seeping through my leggings and I instantly regret dropping the blanket by the door.
"I've missed you both so much! How are things between the both of you?" I ask tucking my legs under my chin and rest my head on my knees awaiting his reply.
"We're really great thanks, she's not well at the moment so she's home, but I wanted to come by and see my other favorite girl" he elbows me playfully, I hit him back grinning and stand up.
"Do you want a drink? Anything to eat?" I offer politely gesturing a thumb to the kitchen.
"I'd love to go out for a coffee or something actually, that's if you're up for it" he quickly adds on the end making sure he didn't seem to demanding, I nod my head pulling on my vans and coat before grabbing my bag.
"Sure, I know the perfect place" I answer following him out and down to the street, the light breeze tossled my hair as our steps could be heard slapping against the pavement.
"It's not so bad here" Liam mentions, I look around our surroundings, it was getting dark and the air was getting colder biting at our cheeks, I rubbed my hands for friction, desperate for some sort of heat source.
"It's okay I spose" I shrug, we start to near a pub that was near Jo's Cafe as I took in the sign that had paint chipping away 'queens pub', I rolled my eyes at the cliché name when my attention was no longer on the sign but on something else or rather someone else.
He brought the cigeratte to his perfectly sculpted lips, taking in the smoke before exhaling it back out, he looked breath taking, his curls pushed up away from his face, a Pink Floyd band tee, his signature black skinny jeans and those tattered brown boots, his gazed fixed on me and Liam, his facial expression did not look pleased, he looked furious which only confused me more, He dropped the cigarette on the floor, stubbing it out with his toe before stepping back into queens.
"Well that was intense" Liam let out a breezy laugh as I managed to return back to reality meeting the look of my friend
"I'll say"
