₀₀₁ / STEPHANIE BROWN: daughter of cluesmaster, a third rate villain in gotham. she thought that he would change, that he would actually be her dad this time around.
₀₀₂ / SPOILER: she should have known better than to trust a criminal, so she dawns her purple attire and becomes spoiler, enemy of crime and enemy of people who don't like purple. she only became spoiler to stop her dad from committing crimes, but she found out something. she loved being spoiler.
₀₀₃ / ROBIN: she wasn't robin for long, only for a short period of time, maybe if she wasn't reckless she would have been robin for longer, but damn you if you thought she wouldn't have given her best. she didn't need bruce's approval. ( but god, she just wanted to prove herself so bad. ) tim drake had given her the mantle & she thought this was her chance. her chance to be something, to be someone.. but, life isn't a fairytale and got fired, but that's not how her life truly ended. it's when she made a big mistake, got taken by black mask, tortured, and then boom. dead.
₀₀₄ / SPOILER ( again ): but. that wasn't the end of stephanie brown. no, leslie saved her. she did die, but not for long, only to convince bruce. leslie wanted to get the girl out of the game, so.. stephanie left, she left gotham. but the thing about gotham.. you can't ever leave, it always calls her back, it's the same about being a crime fighter. it's the kick and adrenaline. that's what drove her back to Gotham and back to being spoiler, she's the dictator of her life, no one else.
₀₀5 / batgirl: wow.. she really needs to learn how to keep her promises. she said she would stop fighting for her mom, but.. look, this life? it's like a drug.. so maybe that's why she broke her promise this time. her mom won't know- if she just keeps up with her work, it'll be fine. stephanie brown, gotham u student by day, the new batgirl by night. look— it's! its! cass's fault! she gave her the mantle! she has to make sure it lives! shes doing gotham a favor! no one else might not think so, but she's doing good. she IS good. she's not giving this up, and after this? no more promises will be broken. she's batgirl, she can't make anymore childish mistakes. once she's proved herself to oracle, it was her time to shine. behold, stephanie brown, batgirl.
