A/N: I love you guys. I know I don’t say it often, but I do.
Ansel’s POV
Her hair was up in a messy bun, her legs were hugged tight by her spandex shorts from track, and had a San Diego State sweatshirt on. If she had glasses on, she would’ve been the cute college geek. Cameron was still cute and attractive. Her head was on my lap and we were watching a movie together, that made us both laugh. It was already 6pm and the stars looked really pretty outside the window, twinkling like Cameron’s eyes.
Once the movie went to commercial, Cameron turned her head toward me and smiled. She kissed my hand and I kissed hers in return, smiling. Being alone with her in Atlanta, while I filmed Insurgent was great. She would get to be there with me every step of the way.
“Babe,” Cameron groaned. “I’m getting hungry.”
“Want to go out and eat, go by stuff to cook, or order room service?” I asked. I wanted room service for tonight, but I was fine with whatever she chose.
“Can we have room service please?” I nodded my head and reached for the phone, along with the menu card. Once I handed it to her, Cameron glanced over it and picked salmon and steamed vegetables, while I picked two sushi rolls.
Before I dialed, I thought of something. “What about dessert?” Cameron giggled and looked at the menu card again.
“How about…” She thought about it and then finally found something she liked. “How about chocolate cake? Like the one from Claim Jumpers?” I agreed and kissed her forehead and dialed room service.
I don’t know how but Cameron ended up feeding me my sushi. We sat at the table and she would reach over and feed me, giggling at how my face would deadpan at the idea of me being fed. It was kinda cute though.
“Thanks for dinner.” She smiled at me and took a bite of her salmon. I leaned over and kissed her cheek.
“Anything for you.” She leaned over and fed me another part of my sushi roll. I looked at her hair and how some of the flyaways encompassed her face, how her blue eyes glimmered, and how she sat at the table sitting criss cross applesauce. My eyes traveled down her body and her spandex shorts were so short, like they could’ve been underwear. I ran my fingers through my hair nervously and cleared my throat. Then, I realized that Cameron was calling my name.
“Ansel,” Her voice sounded concern. “Are you okay?” She looked at me weird. I felt my sweats growing a tent and squirmed.
“Yeah. Just thinking about how amazing this stay will be.” Cameron giggled and moved both of our plates to the side.
“Okay. Time for dessert.” She grabbed one piece of cake and got up, heading to the living room. I blindly followed.
“What are you doing?” I asked, scared.
“Nothing.” Cameron replied. “Just sit.” I sat down and once I got comfy, she straddled me, still holding the cake. My breath caught in my throat. Only a few thin inches of fabric between us. Cameron took the fork and ate a small bite. Her head fell back slowly and closed her eyes. I couldn’t help but laugh and think it was sexy at the same time.
“This cake is heaven on earth.” Once she looked back at me, her giggles filled the room and I took a quick bite. After I closed my eyes enjoying the taste, I felt something on my nose. I opened my eyes to see cake icing on my nose and Cameron giggling. I scooped my finger in the cake icing and smeared some on her cheek.
“This is war.” The smirk on her face was devious.
“Not if I win.” I whispered and smeared cake and icing on her lips and kissed her. My tongue slid over her lips, catching the icing and enjoying every minute of it. Its a good thing there was still a whole cake left.
